Public Notice 

Public Disclosure on the Reviewed Abbreviated Resettlement Action Plan (ARAP) Report for the Rehabilitation of the Mokwa-Bida Road Project by Federal Ministry of Works 

In accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Act Cap El2 LFN 2004 which makes it mandatory for proponents of all new major development activities to carry out Environmental Impact Assessment of their proposed projects, the Federal Ministry of Environment hereby announces a Twenty-One (21) Working Days Public Notice for information and comments on the Reviewed ARAP Report submitted by Federal Ministry of Works.

Project Description;

Activities of the proposed project will involve the scarification of failed section of the Mokwa-Bida Road through the provision of stone base prime coat and asphalt overlay, re­instatement of shoulders, construction of concrete lined drains and de-sitting of culverts and drains.

Duration of Display;

Date: 27^th May, 2015 – 25^th June, 2015.

Time; 8:00am – 4:00pm Daily.
