Prequalification of Pharmaceutical Companies for Supply of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables to Headquarters and Other Locations -National Shopping List-
- Introduction
The Nigerian Ports Authority hereby invites interested and competent manufacturers, contractors/suppliers with relevant experience to apply for prequalification to be placed on a National Shopping List for periodic supply of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables at the under listed locations for a period of two (2) years.
- Scope of Projects
The scope of the project includes short listing of reputable Pharmaceutical companies for periodic supply of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables for NPA Headquarters and other Port locations as outlined below:
LOT 1 | Lagos (Headquarters, Western Ports, Lagos Port Complex & Tin Can Island Port) Area |
LOT 2 | Delta Ports Area |
LOT 3 | Port-Harcourt (Eastern Ports, Rivers Ports & Onne Port) Area |
LOT 4 | Calabar Ports Area |
C. Prequalification Requirements
Interested companies should submit Three (3) HARD copies (one original and two duplicate copies) and a SOFT copy (MS Word/Excel/PDF) of the bound documents duly signed, paginated, separated by dividers and arranged in the order out’ lined hereunder:
Mandatory Requirements (SOFT and HARD COPIES)
- Evidence of company registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Registration Certificate including Memorandum and Article of Association.
- VAT Registration Certificate
- TAX Clearance Certificate for 2011, 2012 & 2013
- Pension Commission (PENCOM) Compliance certificate where applicable
- Industrial Training Fund (ITF) certificate where applicable
- Evidence of current registration and retention of premises with Pharmacists Council of Nigeria and current annual license to practice as pharmaceutical chemist of the super intendent pharmacist of the company
- Evidence as a pharmaceutical manufacturer, pharmaceutical firm, importer, distributor, sole agency, sole franchisee of the pharmaceutical products or medical consumables (where applicable)
- Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council (FRC) where applicable
Other Requirements (SOFT and HARD COPIES)
- Details of relevant verifiable experience of similar past supplies or projects. Please, attach copies of transaction documents including project completion certificates
- Company profile to include names, qualifications and experience of key personnel
- All relevant information concerning contact telephone, fax and e-mail address of company representative
- Bids must be in English language, in clear copy and signed by an official authorized by the company.
D. Submission of Prequalification Documents
One (1)soft and Three (3) hard copies of prequalification documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “Prequalification of Pharmaceutical Companies for Supply of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables to Headquarters and other Locations” specifying Lot No, and Public Notice No …3847 (Companies are not permitted to bid for more than two lots otherwise they will be disqualified) addressed to The Secretary, Tenders Board, Nigerian Ports Authority and dropped in the designated Tender Box located on the ground floor, Nigerian Ports Authority Headquarters at 26/28, Marina Lagos not later than 11.00 am on Wednesday, 2nd July, 2014. All received bids will be opened immediately at the Conference room, 1 Joseph Street, off Marina, Lagos in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Please, ensure that you sign the bid submission register in the office of the General Manager, Procurement, room 029 ground floor, as the Authority will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted bids. Note that this invitation to tender does not place any obligation on the Authority to consider any responding company for award of Contract Acceptance of any wrongly placed tenders would not be entertained.
All costs incurred as a result of this tender invitation and any subsequent requests for information shall be borne by the bidding companies. Late submission will not be entertained and only short-listed companies will be contacted.
