Invitation to Tenders for the Provision of Additional Workstation and Upgrading of Billing Unit of AEPB and Erosion Control at Maitama District of Abuja
The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) through the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) has provisions in the 2013 budget for the Provision of Additional Workstation and Upgrading of the Billing Unit of AEPB and Erosion Control at Maitama District of Abuja. Interested and competent contractors/companies are hereby invited to submit tender for the jobs as listed in the table below.

Tender Requirements:
Bidders should include copies of the following documents in their technical submissions.
A. Requirement for Pre-qualification without which shall disqualified a Company.
i. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affair Commission (CAC).
ii. Evidence of Tax Clearance for the last three years (2010,2011 & 2012).
iii. Verifiable and up-to-date evidence of registration with Pension Administrator and remittance of pension fund contributions in line with section 16, sub-section 16(d) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007 for the company with at least five (5) and above personnel in its payroll.
iv. Verifiable and up-to-date evidence of payment of 1% of annual total emolument accrued to the company staff to ITF for organization having 5 or more employees or having less than 5 (five) employees but with a turnover of N50 Million and above in line with provision of Section 6(1) of Industrial Training Fund Act.
B. Other Requirements
v. Evidence of audited Account prepared by a Chartered Accounting firm for the last three years (2010, 2011 & 2012).
vi. Up to date CAC Returns and Articles and Memorandum of Association.
vii. Detailed Company profile.
viii. Company’s bank statement for the last 12 months.
ix. List of verifiable documentary evidences of jobs of similar scale and type successfully executed within the last three years.
x. A sworn affidavit confirming that none of the company Directors has ever been convicted in any Court of Law in line with the provisions of Part IV, Section 16(6e-f) of Public Procurement Act 2007.
xi. Prospective bidders for lot 2 shall include list of equipment to execute the job.
Collection of Tender Documents
Interested companies should collect the tender document from the Procurement Section of Abuja Environmental Protection Board, Plot 776, Cadastral AO off Zakari Maimalari Street, Central Business District, Abuja upon presentation of an evidence of payment of non-refundable Tender Fee of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira) paid to FCT Central Revenue Account No. 5030009770, at Fidelity Bank Plc Central Area, Abuja.
Submission of Tender Documents:
The Tender documents (Technical & Financial) Shall be in Separate Envelopes and shall be three (3) copies each One (1) original and Two (2) other copies. The Two sealed envelopes Technical and Financial separately labelled to be put in a single bigger enveloped sealed and labelled Technical & Financial Bids for ………………. (Lot ……………………..). All pages of the Tender documents should be dully endorsed by the bidder and should be dropped in the tender box at the Conference Room of the Abuja Environmental Protection Board not later than 12.00noon on 11th October 2013. The representative of the bidding companies and interested members of public, especially Civil Right Organization are invited to witness the opening of the tenders on the same day by 12.10PM at the same venue at no cost to AEPB or FCTA.
Please note:
i. Bidders without items i-iv of the tender requirements stand not prequalified
ii. Late submission will be rejected.
iii. This advertisement to tender shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of Abuja Environmental Protection Board and FCTA nor shall it entitle the tenderer to make any claim what-so-ever and or seek any indemnity from the Board by virtue of such tenderer having responded to the advert.
iv. Register must be signed on the submission of tender.
v. The Board may, at its own discretion, reject any bid which does not conform to the basic rules.
vi. The bid amount to be quoted in Nigeria currency.
vii. The Financial Bid should be separated from Technical Bid in separate envelopes and two properly labelled differently should be put in a bigger envelope. Any combined bid shall be disqualified and returned to the owner.
