Invitation to Tender
1.0 Introduction
Tenders are hereby invited from reputed and qualified contractors for Extension/Remodeling of the Annex Building within the Instituted premises in Victoria Island, Lagos State, Nigeria.
2.0 Scope of Work
Generally, the work involves
2.1 Sub-structural works to Lift Shaft
2.2 Removal and Demolition works
2.3 Frames and walls
2.4 New Upper Floors and Roof Slabs
2.5 Staircases to New Mezzanine
2.6 Roof Structures and Covering
2.7 Doors and Windows
2.8 Walls and Floor Finishes
2.9 Ceiling Finishes
2.10 Fittings and Fixtures
2.11 Electrical and Mechanical Services
2.12 Lift Installation
3.0 Tender Qualification
The Tender must produce the following:
3.1 Evidence of Company Certificate of Incorporation
3.2 Company Tax Clearance Certificate for 3 years
3.3 Verifiable evidence of similar job(s) executed.
3.4 Company profiles with evidence of technical qualification and experience of key Personnel
3.5 Evidence of Financial Capability
3.6 VAT Registration and evidence of past VAT remittances
3.7 Payment of non-refundable Fee of N1,000,000.00 (One Million Naira only) to be made in Bank Draft in favour of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs
4.0 Tender/Bid Document
Interested Bidder should obtain Tender Documents from the Secretary, Due Process Committee of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, 13/15 Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos between 9am and 4pm any day between Friday, 11th April and Monday, 26th May, 2014. Also the sealed Bid should be submitted to the Secretary – Due Process Committee, not later than 12noon on Friday, 30th May, 2014.
5.0 Opening of Bid
Bid will be opened in the presence of Bidders or their Representatives at 1.00pm on Friday 30th May 2014.
