Invitation to Tender
1. Introduction
The National Emergency Management Agency hereby wishes to invite interested companies to tender for the following operational vehicles listed below:

- Scope of Work
The scope of the supply is as detailed in the Standard bidding document to be issued to bidders.
- Tendering Requirements
Interested and eligible contractors wishing to carry out the supply must submit the following documents:
i. Evidence of Registration/Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission;
ii. Detailed company profile indicating office address and functional contact numbers;
iii. Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years;
iv. VAT Registration Certificate;
v. Evidence of Company fulfillment of statutory obligations of its employees with respect to pensions in accordance with section 16(6)(d) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007;
vi. Evidence of compliance with the statutory provision of the Industrial Training Fund (Amendment) Act 2011.
- Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in the last five (5) years;
- Evidence of financial capability;
ix. Bid Security of 2% of Bid Sum in Bank Guarantee must accompany bid;
x. Bid shall be valid for a period of 90 days after opening;
xi. Sworn affidavit in line with the provision of part iv section 16, subsection 6 (c,e & f) of the Public Procurement Act 2007.
- Collection of Tender Documents
To collect bid document, a prospective bidder is required to pay a non – refundable bidding fee of N10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira) only per lot by bank draft payable to “NEMA Revenue Account”.
- Submission of Tenders
Tenders must be submitted in properly sealed and secured envelopes clearly indicating the Name of the Project and lot number and labeled appropriately- addressed to:

Tenders must be submitted not later than 10 a.m. 14th July 2014, while the opening of bids will follow by 11.00 a.m. on the same date at the Agency’s Headquarters.
N.B.:-1. This advertisement shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of NEMA, nor shall it entail any bidder to make any claim(s) whatsoever and seek indemnity from NEMA by virtue of that bidder having responded to this advertisement.
- NEMA has the right to reject any or all the submissions on this tender
- Submission must be made only in English language
