Invitation to Bid Cleaning and General Maintenance Services
The present NIS ISO 9001:2008 certification status of the Federal Rood Safety which gave her world class ranking has continued to attract national and international acclaims. As the Corps makes deliberate attempts to raise the standard of excellence, an expansive property in Gwarinpa, Abuja was acquired where the FRSC Mess and the Corps Medical Centre are both situated. In order to maintain the cleanliness of this beautiful environment and the RSHQ office complex in Wuse zone 3, the Corps hereby invites competent cleaning service companies to submit bids for the cleaning and general maintenance of these properties.

- Window cleaning
- Waste disposal and refuse control
B. Property at Gwarinpa
- Pest control and fumigation
- Landscaping and gardening
- Industrial cleaning
- Waste disposal and refuse control
- General maintenance
- Pre-Qualification Requirements
Pre-qualification requirements are listed here under:
a. Comprehensive company profile
b. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
c. Evidence of payment of tax for the last three years (2011, 2012 and 2013)
d. Evidence of VAT registration
e. Verifiable proof of company’s financial capacity to deliver (Bank reference)
f. Evidence of payment of training contributions to ITF (Industrial Training Fund)
g. Evidence of experience of similar supplies
Prospective service providers should include a detailed work plan and financials for their services in their submissions.
- Deadline for Submissions
Four (4) enveloped copies of technical submission and (1) enveloped financial submission, all placed in a much larger envelope should be appropriately marked and submitted at the Corps Procurement Office, Federal Road Safety Corps, Head Quarters, Wuse Zone 3, Abuja on or before 12 00noon. Monday 11th August 2014.
- Opening of Bids
Opening of bids shall take place on Monday 11th August 2014 immediately after the close of bids in the Visitors Room (by the quarter guard) FRSC Headquarters, Wuse Zone 3, Abuja.

- For ease of identification, the reverse, side of the larger envelope should bear the company’s name, address and phone number(s) of contact person(s).
- Please adhere strictly to closing date of bids.
