Invitation for the Submission of Expression of Interest for the Supply of Office Furniture Items to the Central Bank of Nigeria
1.0 Preamble
The Central Bank of Nigeria requires the supply of Furniture Items to the Bank. Consequently, the Bank wishes to invite Manufacturers of Office Furniture Items to submit expression of interest for the supply of the furniture to our various locations, nationwide.
The List of Furniture items include but not limited to:
1. Chairs- High Back Swivel Chairs, Medium – Back Swivel Chair, visitors chairs, stainless steel, airmless chairs, Leather Settees.
2. Tables with drawers, plain tables
3. Workstations
4. Shelves
5. Cabinets
2.0 Scope of Work
Supply of Specific Office Furniture item to various locations of the Bank Nationwide.
3.0 Requirement
Interested and competent firms must submit the following documents with the expression of interest.
- Mandatory (without which company will be disqualified)
(i) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
(ii) Certified true copy of Memorandum and Article of Association.
(iii) Evidence of payment of tax for the last three (3) years as at when due (such evidence should reflect the value of the projects undertaken by the Company in the last three (3) years). (
iv) Certificate of Compliance issued by the National Pension Commission as evidence of fulfilling employer’s obligation to employees with respect to pensions.
(v) Evidence of payment of training contributions to ITF (Industrial Training Fund).
(vi) Evidence of Ownership of Furniture Factory or proof of being a manufacturer’s representative. Subsequent inspection of the factory/showroom may be made for necessary assessment.
B. Others
(vii) Corporate profile of the firm including CV of key personnel registered address, functional contact email address, GSM phone number(s), facsimile number(s).
(viii) Audited accounts in the last three (3) years dully stamped by licensed Auditors.
(ix) Verifiable reference or evidence of satisfactory performance of similar jobs executed from three (3) previous clients.
4.0 Submission
Submissions should be forwarded in a wax sealed waxed envelope boldly marked at the top left corner: “Expression of interest for the supply of Office Furniture Items to the Central Bank of Nigeria” And addressed to:-

5.0 Closing Date
All submissions must be received at the above address not later than 12 noon on 7th August, 2014.
6.0 Opening Date
All submissions will be opened immediately after the close of submission on 7th August, 2014 at 2nd Floor Wing D, Procurement and Support Services Department (PSSD), Central Bank of Nigeria, Abuja.
7.0 Important Notice
a) This is not an invitation to tender. Full tendering procedure will be applied to contractors prequalified and found capable of executing the job
b) Only successful contractors will be contacted for the tendering process.
c) Nothing in the advert shall be construed to be a commitment on the part of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
