Invitation for Prequalification and Tender for the Production and Airing of ‘Money and Economy’ Radio Programme on the Network Service of Radio Nigeria
Introduction:
The Central Bank of Nigeria is desirous to invite bids for the production and airing of a serial enlightening programme named ‘Money and the Economy’ on the network service of the Radio Nigeria.
The Scope of Work:
The scope of work to be undertaken includes but is not limited to:
- Sourcing of Qualitative Materials from Skilled Resource Persons
- Coverage of the Bank Events and airing same
- Provision Editorial Suite Services
- Procurement of suitable airtime on the network of Radio Nigeria
- Providing recorded tapes of all aired programmes to the Bank
Reputable firms having experience in the electronic media, particularly radio, wishing to participate in the competitive bid must note or provide the following: Specific Requirements:
- Well-equipped editorial suite within Abuja metropolis, preferably a digital studio
- Well trained and skilled personnel of not less than six (6) in number
- Avery good knowledge of production of magazine programme on a sustainable basis
- An excellent working relationship with various radio stations across the country for possible collaboration should the need arises (even though Radio Nigeria network is the target/desired station).
General Requirements:
- Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- Certified True Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association.
- Evidence of payment of tax for the last three (3) years as at when due.
- Comprehensive company profile including registered office, functional contact email address, GSM phone number(s) facsimile number(s) and detailed Resume of relevant staff.
- Previous, verifiable evidence of experience on similar jobs successfully executed in an organization similar in size and complexity to CBN in the past (evidence of verifiable certificate of completion should also be provided)
- Reference letter from a bank(s) stating the financial ability of the company to carry out such job(s).
- Current company’s three (3) years audited statement of accounts (2011, 2012, and 2013)
- Certificate of compliance issued by the National Pension Commission as evidence of fulfilling employers’ obligation to employees with respect to pension.
- Evidence of remittance of Training contributions to the industrial Training Fund (ITF)
Submission of Bids:
Interested persons should submit their bids in two Separate sealed envelopes namely:
- The Technical proposal and the documents listed under the General requirements should be submitted in a wax sealed envelope boldly marked at the top left corner “PREQUALIFICATION AND TECHNICAL PROPOSAL FOR THE PRODUCTION AND AIRING OF MONEY AND ECONOMY RADIO PROGRAMME ON THE NETWORK SERVICE OF FRCN”
- The Financial proposal should be submitted in a second wax sealed envelope boldly marked at the top left corner: “FINANCIAL PROPOSAL FOR THE PRODUCTION AND AIRING OF MONEY AND ECONOMY RADIO PROGRAMME ON THE NETWORK SERVICE OF FRCN” And addressed to:-

Closing Date:
All submissions must be received at the above Office on or before 12noon May 21st, 201 4.
Opening Date:
The Prequalification and Technical proposal will be opened immediately after the closing date at the 2nd Floor Wing D, Procurement & Support Services Department, Central Bank of Nigeria, Abuja.
Important Notice
a) Nothing in the advert shall be construed to be a commitment on the part of the CBN.
b) Successful Bidders will be notified formally.
