Invitation for Pre-qualification of Contractors for the execution of 2014 projects

1.0     Preamble

The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) hereby invites interested and reputable contractors to apply for pre-qualification to be considered for the following projects which it intends to execute.

 Areas for Pre-Qualification

LOT 1:        Supply of Office Furniture

LOT 2:        Supply of Office Equipment

LOT 3:        Supply and Installation of Air Conditioner Units

LOT 4:        Supply of Motor Vehicles.

3.0     Pre-Qualification Requirements

i.        Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)

ii.       Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years viz 2010, 2011 and 2012

iii.      Value Added Tax Registration Certificate

iv.      Tax PIN number from Inland Revenue Service

v.       Company Profile indicating key personnel with years of relevant experience

vi.      Verifiable evidence of audited accounts for the past three (3) years

vii.     Verifiable evidence of financial capability to execute the job

viii.    Verifiable evidence of similar works successfully completed within the last five years, attaching photocopies of award letter and job completion Certificates

ix.      Letter of attestation from a reputable Bank

x.       Any additional information that may enhance the prequalification of the company.

4.0     Submission of pre-Qualification Documents

All pre-qualification documents should be enclosed in a sealed envelope and must be returned to:

Note

a)       The “Pre-Qualification to Tender” shall not be a commitment on the part of COREN. It shall not entitle the tenderer to make any claims whatsoever or seek for any remedy/indemnity from COREN by virtue of such tender having responded to this advert.

b)      Late submission will not be accepted

c)       Submission should be very clear on the areas of specialization and LOT(s) of interest.
