Introduction
Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) is a satellite operator under the new Federal Ministry of Communication Technology, charged with the management and operation of Nigeria’s Communications Satellite, including NigComSat-1R, with a mission to manage and exploit the commercial viability of Nigerian Communications Satellite for the socio-economic benefit of the nation and a Vision to be the leading satellite operator in Africa. NIGCOMSAT Limited is wholly committed to providing high-quality, reliable and professional services to meet the nation’s Telecommunication, Broadcast, Aviation, Maritime, Defence and Strategic Security needs,
In order to accomplish the stated mission and actualize the mandates hereto, NIGCOMSAT Limited is upgrading some of the facilities at its Ground Station in Abuja.
In compliance with the due process guidelines, as mandated by the public procurement Act 2007, NIGCOMSAT Limited invites experienced, reputable, competent and registered contractors with certifiable record of performance to bid for the following projects.
(A) Ground Infrastructure
LOT 1 – KA and extended C band earth station antenna and accessories with installation
LOT2 – RF and network component for NIGCOMSAT teleport
LOT3 – Ground control equipment for satellite control centre and Network operation centre
LOT4 – Supply and Installation of KA- Band outdoor TWTA Power amplifier
LOT5 – Provision of Fiber last mile to NIGCOMSAT facility
B) Project/Services
LOT 1 – Supply and installation of electrical equipment
LOT2 – Supply of office equipment and accessories
LOT3 – Supply of office furniture
LOT4 – Supply of computer, networking and IT infrastructural equipment and services
LOT5 – Maintenance of generator and plant
LOT6 – Maintenance of computers and office equipment
LOT7 – IP Surveillance system
LOT8 – Provision of street light
Pre-Qualification Requirement
In order to be considered for pre-qualification exercise all interested contractors or companies are required to submit the following documents for scrutiny;
a) Evidence of relevant and verifiable experience on similar job ( Letter of award, job completion certificate and list of similar completed or ongoing jobs including pictorial evidence)
b) Evidence of incorporation certificate with corporate affairs commission CAC
c) Evidence of VAT Registration/TIN and company audit Account for three (3) years; 2013, 2012, 2011
d) Evidence of financial capability including bank reference and current statement of account
e) Evidence of compliance with the pension reform act, 2004 with updated remittances
f) Legal binding joint ventures agreement if the bid is in partnership or in a consortium with other
Tender Document Collection
Tender documents will be given to all pre-qualified companies
Submission of Tender
Completed technical and financial bid shall be submitted in two separate envelopes, sealed and clearly marked Technical Bid for lot No, and Financial Bid for a specified Lot No. write the project title clearly and address to:

Bids Opening
All Technical Bids and Financial Bids shall be publicly opened at 11.00am a week after the closure of submission of bids at NIGCOMSAT LTD Auditorium, Obasanjo Space Centre, Umaru Musa Yar’adua Way, Abuja. All vendors and or their representatives, interested member of the public are invited to witness the bids opening.
Important Notice
a) All bids sent by post will be rejected.
b) Incomplete documents or late submission of bids documents will not be entertained
c) False claims and failure to comply with the instruction above or to provide all the listed documents may automatically lead to disqualification.
