Invitation for Pre-qualification and Tender for the 2014 Capital Appropriated Projects
Introduction
The National Centre for Energy Research and Development hereby invites interested and credible companies with verifiable track
SCOPE
The Scope of the work include:
Lot l: Completion of Access Road, Landscaping, Gate and Gate house.
Lot 2: Completion and procurement of Equipment for Mechanical & Electrical Lab building
Lot 3: Provision of Solar Street Lights in various Locations
Lot 4: Provision of Solar Motored Boreholes in various Locations
Lot 5: Provision/Furnishing of ICT Centres.
Lot 6: Provision of Solar Power plant
Lot 7: Maintenance of Solar Street Lights & Water boreholes in some locations in the South East
Pre-qualification Criteria
Interested companies should submit their detailed pre-qualification documents for assessment containing the under listed documents:
- Evidence of incorporation of the Company with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- Evidence of Recent Annual Returns to Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificate (2011, 2012 and 2013)
- Evidence of VAT Certificate and VAT remittances to Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS).
- Company profile with list of staff, including curriculum vitae, competence, qualifications, registration with relevant professional bodies and experience of key personnel.
- Evidence of previous similar projects undertaken in the past five (5) years including scope of project, site of project, contract sum, evidence of successful completion of the project (interim/final valuation & certificate).
- Evidence of Current Audited Accounts of Firm for the last three (3) years (2011, 2012 and 2013).
- Evidence of Financial Capability and Banking Support (bank reference), bank statements of account for the last three months and letter authorizing the Centre to verify same from the bank.
- Swore Affidavit that: (a) The Firm is not bankrupt.
(b) Non of the Directors is an Ex-convict or bankrupt
- Articulate work plan and methodology for the execution of the project.
- Evidence of Employees Retirement Savings Accounts (RSA) with a pension Fund Administrator.
- Evidence of remitting Employer and Employee Pension Contributions to the appropriate pension fund custodian.
- Evidence of transferring all pension funds and assets prior to the commencement of the pension Reform Act Licensed Pension operators.
- Please state clearly your company’s full contact address, GSM Phone number and e-mail address for ease of communication.
- Evidence of payment of Training contributions to ITF
- Evidence of payment of 1% of the total Annual emolument of their worked to NSTTF
Submission
Pre-qualification documents must be in a sealed envelope marked “Confidential Pre-Qualification for NCERD 2014 Capital Projects” and the Lot of interest clearly printed at the top left corner of the envelope to be submitted on or before 14th July 2014, by 12 noon. The document will be opened on the 14th July 2014 at 1.00pm prompt in the Centre Conference Hall. All companies that submit pre-qualification documents are therefore invited to attend the opening of the document on the date, time and venue state above. Prequalified companies will be communicated in writing for the tender and will be required to pay the appropriate tender fee.

Note: The submission of the pre-qualification documents is not a guarantee for the award of the contract. Only the pre-qualified companies shall be invited to pick the Bid document.
