 Addendum

The attention of the general public is hereby drawn to our advertisement (Invitation for Expression of Interest – Consultancy Service for Development of Industrial Infrastructure) which appeared in the Daily Trust and The Guardian Newspapers, the Federal Tenders Journal of Monday, March 23^rd 2015 and to note the following clarifications:

(a)     That the current Certificate of Compliance issued by National Pension Commission as evidence of compliance with Pension Reform Act 2004 is a requisite for the Consultancy:

(b)     That the current Certificate of Compliance issued by Industrial Training Fund (ITF) in compliance with Section 6 (2) of the ITF amendment Act 2011 is also a requisite for the Consultancy.

(c)      That Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) is not a requisite for the Consultancy.

(d)     The deadline for submission of Expression of Interest still remains Wednesday, April 29, 2015; all documents should be submitted not later than 12.00 noon on Wednesday, April 29^th 2015. Opening of Expression of Interest documents will take place in the Conference Room by 12:30pm; and

(e)      Non-Governmental Organisation, relevant Professional Association and the general public are hereby invited to witness the bids opening:

(2.0) Disclaimer and Conclusion

(i)      This announcement is published for information purposes only and does not constitute an offer by the Council to transact with any party for the projects nor does it constitute a commitment or obligation on the part of the Council to procure:

(ii)     Please note that only pre-qualified companies will be contacted in writing to tender for the relevant projects, which shall attract appropriate administrative and tender fee after evaluation and verification of claims.

(iii)    The Council pledges fair and equal treatment of all participants but is not bound to shortlist any bidder and reserves the right to annul this selection process at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever
