1. Introduction
The Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaure is a beneficiary of 2011/2012 merged Tertiary Education Trust Fund Intervention in Library Development. In view of this, the Polytechnic is hereby inviting sealed bids from reputable and eligible contractors with relevant experience and good track record for the following projects:

Lot 1: Procurement of 971 Nos. of Assorted Textbooks
Lot 2: Procurements of 12No.s Periodical Racks (Nom Cocnil, single Sided, Steel), 4nos of reception seats (pansy, 5 seater, padded), 4No. Centre table (Aluminium frame, rectangular glass top),10Nos kick steps
Lot 3: Procurement of Library Hardware/Software for Automation/Retrospective Conversion of Records/Staff Training
3. Bids Requirements
Interested contractors to submit the following documents:
i. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
ii. Valid Tax Clearance for last three (3) years.
iii. VAT Registration and evidence of past remittances
iv. Company profile which should include names, qualification and experience of key personnel.
V. Verifiable evidence of previous experience in handling similar projects including letters of award/practical completion certificates.
vi. Evidence of availability of facilities and equipment owned by the company.
vii. Evidence of Financial Capability and Banking support (show Reference/Guarantee from a reputable Bank).
viii. Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years

4 Tender Documents
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by eligible bidders at the Library Department and upon payment a non refundable fee of N20,000.00 only.
5. Submission
Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked “Bidding Documents for ……….. 2011/2012 merged TETFund in Library Development. Including the title of the project and address to:
The Registrar, Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, PMB 5004 Kazaure, Jigawa State on or before 12:00 pm on 18th November, 2013.
6. Opening of Bids
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders and/or their representative at 2:00 pm on 18th November, 2013 at the Council Chamber of the Polytechnic.
