Expression of Interest for Provision of Security Services to Various Offices/Locations in the Niger Delta Region
As part of effort to secure Federal Government investments in the Niger Delta Region, the Ministry intends lo prequalify competent consultants for the provision of security services to various offices/locations in the Nine states of the Niger Delta Region (Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers States).
Scope of Work
The scope of works/services shall be:
i) Safe-guarding property and assets.
ii) Safe-guarding life within the identified locations.
iii) Provision of round the clock security in the nine (9) States offices among other identified locations,
iv) Provision of any other services deemed necessary in the area of security.
Requirements:
Interested consultants/contractors who wish to participate in the above exercise are required to submit their firm’s profile which must include but not be limited to the following documents for prequalification:
1. Evidence of incorporation of the company with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
2. Evidence of 3 years Current Tax Clearance Certificate (2012, 2011 & 2010)
3. Evidence of Current Audited Accounts for last three (3) years (2010, 2011 & 2012)
4. Evidence of current registration with NSCDC
5. VAT Certificate and evidence of remittance to FIRS
6. Evidence of Pension Remittance and Social Security Contributions
7. Evidence of registration/remittance in Industrial Training Fund (ITF)
8. Details of staff strength including the Curriculum Vitae and profile of key staff with copies of credentials for verification.
9. Clear indication of Head Office address.
10. Sworn affidavit that the firm is not bankrupt or in receivership.
11. A Sworn affidavit to the effect that the company is capable of carrying out the services in the Niger Delta Region.
Originals of documents listed in 1-3 must be produced for sighting during the tender opening session.

And clearly marked “PROVISION OF SECURITY SERVICES TO MNDA PROPERTIES/ASSETS IN STATE” Each consultant is restricted to bid for one (1) lot only.
Deadline for Submission:
Tender documents in three (3) hard copies and one (1) soft copy (CD) should BE SUBMITTED TO THE MTB Secretariat Annex located in Room 4A-317, 3rd Floor, Federal Secretariat, Shehu Shagari Way, Abuja. Submission should be made before 12:00 noon on Monday, 24th of March, 2014. Received bids will be opened on the same day by 12:00 noon in the Secretariat Conference Room on the Ground Floor (OSGF Conference Room) in the presence of all bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.

NB:
1. That if at any time it is discovered that any information submitted for pre-qualification is false; the Ministry reserves the right to disqualify the company.
2. Response to this invitation shall not oblige the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs to consider any responding firm for qualification and any cost incurred as a result of response to this invitation and any subsequent requests for information shall be borne by the responding firm.
