Expression of Interest as an Auctioneers/Buyer of Old Ballot Boxes & Waste Papers for the Disposal of Unserviceable Vehicles and Obsolete Stores Items
- 1. Introduction
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in pursuance of its statutory function intends to conduct the auction sale of unserviceable vehicles and obsolete stores items in the thirty – Six states including FCT, Six Zonal stores and headquarters.
The Commission therefore invites submissions from reputable Licensed Auctioneers to be considered for the exercise
- 2. Scope of Work
The disposal of unserviceable Vehicles and obsolete stores items in the Headquarters, thirty-six states, FCT and six Zonal stores.
- 3. Submission Requirements
Interested Auctioneers must submit the following documents:
- Profile of firm
- Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Evidence of Registration/Renewal of Registration with INEC
- Evidence of similar experience with other Government agencies, Ministries of Parastatals including INEC
- Evidence of 3 years tax clearance
- Evidence of Professional affiliation/Membership of Association
- Evidence of an identification letter from a Paper Converter Company (for waste paper only)
4. General Information
a. This “Notice of Intent” is not an automatic appointment. as only qualified Auctioneers/Buyer shall be contacted.
b. For clarifications and / or additional information, you may contact: Department of estate, Works & Transport, INEC H/qtrs., Maitama, Abuja, between the hours of 10 am – 2 pm. Monday – Friday during the period this advert is made public until the close of receipt of submissions.
c. The closing date for submission of the expression of interest documents shall on be on 21st October, 2013.
5. Submissions
All submissions must be delivered in one (1) No. Neatly bound hard copy in sealed envelope clearly marked “Confidential Notice of Intent to Pre-qualify as EXPRESSION OF INTEREST AS AN AUCTIONEERS/BUYER OF OLD BALLOT BOXES & WASTE PAPERS” and delivered to the address below not later than 21st October, 2013.
