Advertisement for Pre-Qualification Of Contractors/ Suppliers
Introduction
The Federal University Wukari in its effort to implement its Approved 2013 TETFUND Special Interventions to the University hereby invites interested and reputable Contractors/Suppliers to submit Tenders for the purpose of Pre-qualification
1.1 Description and Scope of Works

The details and scope of works would be provided in form of Specifications, Drawings and unpriced Bill of Quantities to be received by bidders.
2.0 Pre-Qualification Criteria
Interested Contractors/Suppliers are invited to submit die following documents; viz
- Evidence of incorporation of company with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Company Audited Account for the last three (3) years.
iii. Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificate.
- Provision of Tax Identification Number (TIN) by Contractor.
- Evidence of compliance with the Pension Reform Act.
- Evidence of compliance with ITF Amendment Act 2011
- Evidence of Financial capability and banking support.
- Evidence of similar and verifiable projects executed not just awarded within the last three (3) years and knowledge of the Industry.
- Company’s Annual turnover.
- Evidence of VAT registration.
- Comprehensive Company profile and organizational structure.
- Evidence of availability of necessary equipment.
- Evidence of technical capacity.
- Evidence of Experience /Technical qualification and experience of key personnel to be deployed on the project.
- Sworn Affidavit attesting to the authenticity of information provided and that such information is true in every respect and that the company is not in receivership and none of its Directors has ever been convicted of fraudulent activity.
xvi. Evidence of Payment of non refundable Processing and Tender fee of N50,000.00 in bank draft in favour of “ Federal University Wukari” to the University
3.0 Verification of Claims:
Please note that Federal University Wukari reserves the right to verify claims made in the Pre-qualification documents submitted by interested contractors / Suppliers.
4.0 Submission of Tenders
(a) Two copies of all Pre-qualification Tender document to be submitted must be in a sealed envelope and marked at the top-right hand corner of the envelope “Pre-Qualification for (Project Name/Lot No)”.
(b) All envelopes should be addressed to:

and dropped in the Tender’s Box in the University Liaison Office: No. 9B, 61 Road, off 6 Avenue Gwarinpa, Abuja.
5.0 The submission of the pre-qualification tender will close by 12.00 noon, Monday 29th September, 2014 and tenders shall be opened publicly on same date 29th September 2014 by 12.00 noon at the University Liaison Office, No. 9B, 61 Road, off 6 Avenue Gwarinpa, Abuja in the presence of all interested bidders or their representatives in attendance.
6.0 Financial bid documents containing full specifications, designs and drawings, un-priced bills of quantities are available for collection as from Monday, 29th September, 2014 at the University Liaison Office. No. 9B, 61 Road, off 6 Avenue Gwarinpa, Abuja upon presentation of evidence of payment of the prescribed fees.
7.0 (a) A copy of the Financial Tender document i.e. priced bill of quantities to be submitted must be in a sealed envelope and marked at the top right hand corner of the envelope, “Financial Tender For (Project name and lot number)”
(B) All envelopes should be addressed to:

And dropped in the Tender’s Box in the Administrative Building of the Federal University Wukari, Taraba State.
8.0 The submission of the financial tender will close by 12.00 noon, Monday 20th October, 2014 and tenders shall be opened publicly on the same date 20th October, 2014 by 12.00 noon at the Large Lecture Hall, Multipurpose Building, University Campus in the presence of all interested bidders or their representatives in attendance.
9.0 Only bidders that are prequalified will have their Financial Tenders opened.
10.0 Members of Civil Societies, Relevant Authorities and General Public are also invited to attend the Opening.
11.0 Tenderers that are interested in more than one project or lot must apply separately for each LOT of the projects.
