This invitation follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online AfDB84-818/12, Issue No. 818 of 16th March 2012 and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.
The Federal Government of Nigeria on behalf of Kaduna State has received financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of the Zaria Water Supply Expansion and Sanitation Project, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for Construction Supervision for the Rehabilitation and Expansion of the Distribution Network.
The services under this project are Supervision of Construction Works for Water Distribution Network, which includes site supervision, design review, quality, time and cost controls for the rehabilitation works of about 61.580 Km length of AC and uPVC pipes and the expansion of a total length of about 399.208 Km pipes in Zaria, Kaduna State. The Construction work is divided into 4 Lots according to the pressure zones as follows;

The Executing Agency is Kaduna State Water Board and the Implementation period is approximately 24 months. The Kaduna State Water Board now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants” July 2012, which is available on the Bank’s website
at http://www.afdb.org. Borrowers are under no obligation to shortlist any consultant who expresses interest. interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours 8.00am to 4.00pm.
