Notice of Cancellation of Procurement Proceedings in Respect of the Pre-Qualification Tenders for the Award of Contract for the Construction of Gundali Mutum/Daya Karim Lamido Road and for the Expression of Interest for Resident Supervision of the Above Named Road Project.
Notice is hereby given to the general public, especially bidders, who tendered for pre-qualification for award of contract for the construction of Gundali Mutum/Daya Karim Lamido Road Project and the expression of interest for Resident Supervision of the above named project, that the procurement proceedings in respect of the above project has been cancelled in the public interest.
- Take Further Notice that the grounds for the cancellation are:-
a) That the solicitation documents were grossly inaccurate having been based on preliminary drawings and Bills of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME); and
b) That major re-alignments of the roads between Sengeh and Lugah Villages has become inevitable, thereby changing the route through the valley of Sengeh mountains instead of the top of the said mountain, which has a cumulative effect on the earlier drawings and Bills of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (B.E.M.E).
- Further Note that the State Government is committed to the execution of the project and that fresh and accurate tenders will soon be advertised in due course at no extra cost to bidders that purchased the cancelled solicitation documents (if still interested).
- All/any inconvenience(s) this unforeseen circumstance may have caused is however, highly regretted.
