Pre-Qualification to Tender for Works and Research Materials under the 2014 Capital Projects
1.0 Preamble
The Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan, Federal College Forestry Ibadan, Federal College Forestry Jos, Federal College of Wildlife Management, New Bussa and Federal College Forestry Mechanization, Afaka-Kaduna, wishes to advertise for pre-qualification of contractors/suppliers for the 2014 capital projects. The requirements for the pre-qualification are indicated in 2.0 below.
2.0 Pre-qualification Requirements
Interested Contractors are required to submit their application along with the following documents
(a) Evidence of Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(b) Evidence of Tax clearance for the last three years (2011- 2013)
(c) Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance for the last three years (2011 – 2013)
(d) Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2011 – 2013)
(e) Company Profile which must include names, qualification and experience of key personnel and list of project previously executed with letter of award and project completion certificate.
(f) Evidence of financial capability and bank support references from a reputable commercial bank
(g) Evidence of compliance with provisions of Pension Reforms Act, 2004.
h) Certificate of compliance with section 6 (1) – (3) of the Industrial Training Fund Amendment Act, 2011.
i) List of equipment owned or lease hold by the company relevant for smooth execution of the project, evidence of ownership pictures with logo is an added advantage.
j) A sworn affidavit indicating that non of the directors/partners of the company has been convicted by any court of criminal offence including fraud and financial impropriety.

4.0 Notification of Pre-qualified Contractors
Name of the pre-qualified contractors shall be displayed on the College Notice Board.
5.0 Note
(a) Submission of pre-qualified documents to colleges is neither a commitment nor an obligation to award any contract to any contractor
(b) The advertisement for pre-qualification should not be construed as commitment on the part of the College, nor shall it entitle any contractor to make any claims whatsoever and or seeks any Indemnity from the College.
(c) The College reserves the rights to verily any of the documents submitted, any discrepancies found would disqualify the contract.
