National Competitive Bidding (NCB)
- This Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) follows the publication of the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project, which appeared in the UN Development Business Issue No: No. 608 on August 16th 2007 and re-issued on 17th December 2013, which appeared on Daily Trust & The Nation Newspapers.
- The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) and French Development Agency (AFD) (hereafter called the Financing) and on-lent the financing to four participating states (Adamawa, Enugu, Niger and Osun) towards the cost of rehabilitation of prioritized rural roads in these states under the second Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP-2). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this financing will be applied to eligible payments under the contracts for the Rehabilitation of prioritized rural roads in Enugu state (hereafter called the Borrower).
- The Enugu State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU), of the Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP) on behalf of Enugu State Government invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction/rehabilitation works in the Following Lots:-

Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the same address. The instructions to bidders and general conditions of contract contained in the bidding documents comply with the FGN Standard Bidding Documents SBD for the procurement of Goods/Works.
- The works generally include: site clearing; minor earth works; provision of sub-base; provision of lateritic base course as surfacing; trapezoidal side drains; lined side drains; single and multiple pipe culvert extensions and new culverts; reinforced concrete box culvert; and road signs and other road furniture.
- Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after Bid Opening and must be accompanied by security for each lot as in the table above. Bids shall be delivered at the RAMP-2, Enugu State Project Implementation Unit at the office address above by 12 noon local time on 26th May, 2014.
Bids will be opened at the same address at 12 noon local time on the same date and in the presence of bidder’s representative who choose to attend.
