Invitation to Tender in the Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Reform Programme II (WSSSRP II) – Rural Component
1.0 Preamble
The Government of Anambra State hereby invites tenders from reputable contractors for the construction of water and sanitation facilities in Aguata and Anambra East Local Government Areas through the State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) in the Ministry of Public Utilities, Water Resources and Community Development, supported by the European Union (EU) and UNICEF under the Rural Component of Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Reform Programme II (WSSSRP II).
2.0 Scope Of Work
- Construction of 30 Solar Powered Boreholes.
- Construction of 12 Integrated Sanitation Facilities (Pour Flush Latrines combined with Urinals and Hand Washing Facilities)
3.0 Mandatory Requirements
Companies interested in the project are to submit company profiles which must contain the following:
- Certificate of incorporation and company Street address
- Evidence of Company Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years
- Company’s financial details and audited accounts for the last three (3) years
- Organizational structure including available manpower
- Evidence of company’s experience on similar jobs, executed in the last five (5) years
- Evidence of possession of relevant equipment
- Evidence of registration with the Ministry of Public Utilities, Water Resources and Community Development, Awka
4.0 Submission of Tender Documents and Company Profiles
Interested eligible contractors are to collect tender documents from RUWASSA on payment of tender fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000.00). The money is to be paid into Account Number: 1400000630 at Spring Bank Plc Awka (Account Name: Anambra State RUWASSSA). Completed tender documents and company profile, which shall be in five copies (one original and four photocopies) are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the company’s bid invitation number at the top left-hand corner, and addressed to: The Programme Manager, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Ministry of Public Utilities, Water Resources and Community Development, Government House, Awka, Anambra State. Sealed Envelopes will be received at RUWASSA office on or before 18th September 2014.
