Invitation to Tender for Works

1. Introduction

The Federal Government College, Sokoto, one of the Federal Unity Colleges under the supervision of Federal Ministry of Education, in line with the Public Procurement Act of 2007 hereby invites reputable experienced contractors to tender for the lots below:

2. Works and Services

Renovation of Dormitory

Renovation of Block of Classroom.

3. MDG Project

(i)      VIP Toilets and Bathrooms (Hostels and Classrooms Areas)

(ii)     Provision of Modern Kitchen and Renovation/Completion of Dining Halls.

(iii)    Borehole and Reticulation of Water

Qualification requirements include;-

(a)     Company profile

(b)     Evidence of Registration with corporate Affairs Commission

(c)      Evidence of compliance with the provision of section 6 (1 )(3) of the amended industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act 19 of 2011

(d)     Company Tax Clearance certificate for the last three (3) years 2011, 2012 and 2013

(e)      Pension clearance certificate from PENCOM

(f)      Evidence of execution of similar jobs by the contractor

Opening

Submission of Tender closes on Monday, 3rd November, 2014 by 11.00am and Bids are to be publicly opened on Monday, 3^rd November, 2014 at the expiration of six (6) weeks from the date of this publication and shall be conducted at the Conference Room of Admin Block Federal Government College, Gusau Road Sokoto immediately after closing.

Bidders or their representatives and members of the public are invited to be present.
