Invitation to Tender For 2014 Capital Projects

Introduction

1.       The Federal Ministry of industry, Trade & Investment hereby invites interested and competent contractors/companies for tendering of the underlisted projects:

Lot 1           Construction of the Ministry’s Car-park in Blocks G&H open space

Lot 2           Procurement of Laptops

Lot 3           Procurement of Computer Consumables

Lot 4           Procurement of Desk -top Computers sets and Accessories

Lot 5           Procurement of Photocopying Machines and Consumables

Lot 8           Procurement of Office Tables & Chairs

Scope

The detailed scope of works will be provided in the Tender Documents

Tender Requirements

• Certificate of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
• Current Tax Clearance Certificate for three years i.e. (2012, 2013 & 2014.
• Evidence of VAT Certificate and VAT remittances to Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
• Company Current Audited Accounts for the last three years (2010, 2011 & 2012).
• Evidence of financial capabilities and banking support (bank reference).
• Company profile with list of staff with relevant qualification.
• Evidence of machines/equipment owned or possessed.
• Evidence of compliance with 2004 Pension Act (Pencom Certificate).
• Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN).
• Evidence of registration with industrial Training Funds (ITF).

Collection of Bid Documents

Interested companies are to collect the bid documents from the office of the Head of procurement, Block G, Room III, Area 1 Old Federal Secretariat, Garki on payment of non-refundable fee of N20,000.00 (twenty thousand Naira) only per-lot

Submission of Tender Documents

Completed technical and financial bid documents must be in two (2) separate envelopes, each appropriately labeled and sealed. The two (2) envelopes should be enclosed in a larger envelope for submission and addressed to:

not later than 12.00 noon on the 22nd October, 2014. All bids-will be opened at 1.00 pm on the 22^nd October, 2014 in the Ministry’s Conference Room, Block C in the presence of bidders or their representatives.

• All documents submitted will be subjected to proper security checks by the relevant agencies.
• Late submission will not be entertained.
