Invitation to Tender

Federal Government Grls’ College, JalingoTaraba State invites interested and credible contractors to apply for pre-qualification for the various projects of the College for the 2014 fiscal year.

Description/Scope

1. Renovation of dilapidated Hostel- Benue
2. Renovation of dilapidated Hostel- Gongola
3. Renovation of 2 Blocks of Classrooms
4. Renovation of dilapidated Basic Technology workshop/ laboratory
5. Renovation of 1 block of Agricultural Science Laboratory
6. Renovation of Dining Hall
7. Construction of 5 VIP toilets in each of the 5 Hostels and 10 VIP toilets for the Classroom area (MDGs)

8. Construction of modern Kitchen/ dining Hall (MDGs)
9. Reticulation of water in the school compound (MDGs)

Pre-qualification Criteria

All prospective contractors are expected to submit their company’s corporate profile containing the following:

a.       Certificate of incorporation

b.       Tax clearance certificate for the last three (3) years and VAT

c.       Evidence of experience in similar jobs within the last three (3) years with detailed description of Job

d.       Evidence of financial Capability and banking support

e.       Copy of audited account for the past three 3 years

f.        Evidence of compliance with industrial Training Fund (ITF) guideline

g.        Evidence of purchase of bidding document

h.       A complete set of bidding document may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of written application to the address below upon payment of a non -refundable foe of N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand naira).

Submission

Documents for pre-qualification shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked confidential ’Pre-Qualification For Federal Government Girls’ College Jalingo 2014 Fiscal Year Capital Projects’ and letter of interest clearly printed at the top left hand corner of the envelope and submitted on or before the 2^nd October, 2014 by 12 noon.

Opening of Pre-Qualification Documents

Pre-qualification documents shall be publicly opened immediately after the submission of pre-qualification documents on the 2^nd October, 2014 at 12noon at the Principal office.

Note

1. Late submission will be rejected
2. Submission of pre-qualification documents is not a guarantee of award of contract.
3. Pre-qualification application should be very clear about the area of competence and interest
