Invitation to Tender
The Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (EKSUBEB) invites reputable contractors to tender for the various construction and renovation works under the first to fourth quarters 2012 UBEC Intervention Projects.

| LOT I | Construction of 2 Mega Early Child Care Centre of block of 5 classrooms each |
| LOT II | Construction of 5 Early Child Care centre of 3 classrooms each |
| LOT III | Construction of 2 Early Child Care centre of 2 classrooms each |
| LOT IV | Construction of 3 Blocks of 6 classrooms storey building each. |
| LOT V | Construction of 4 Blocks of bungalow of 6 classrooms each. |
| LOT VI | Construction of 76 Blocks of 3 classrooms. |
| LOT VII | Fencing of 23 Public Primary Schools. |
| LOT VIII | Renovation of 70 Blocks of classrooms |
| LOT IX | Construction of 40 V. I. P Toilets with borehole and overhead tank |

Requirements for Tendering
Interested contractors must submit along with their tenders the following documents:
- Evidence of registration of company with Corporate Affairs Commission
- Evidence of company registration with FIRS Federal Inland Revenue Services(FIRS)
- Evidence of registration with Bureau for Public Procurement.
- Three Years Tax Clearance 2011, 2012 and 2013
- Evidence of Payment of 3 years Development Levies; 2011, 2012 and 2013.
- Evidence of previous works/projects satisfactorily executed (contractor with history of abandoned project need not apply.
- Evidence of qualified technical and professional staff.
- Each would be bidder is expected to pay a non refundable tender fee of:
- N60,000.00 for construction of 6 classrooms storey building
- N40,000.00 for construction of 6 classrooms bungalow
- N30,000.00 for construction of 2,3 classrooms blocks
- N20,000.00 for renovation and fencing works
- N10.000.00 for VIP toilet and furniture
4. Tender documents and additional information are to be collected from the office of the Director Planning Research and Statistics (PPU UNIT). Interested contractors may tender for more than one Lot or Lots separately and should note that failure to include any of the requirements above renders the application invalid.

The company submitting the tender documents should write their phone numbers, contact persons and firms’ name at the bottom left of the envelope.
All valid tender documents should be neatly packed and should be submitted in sealed envelope marked TENDER FOR 2012 UBEC INTERVENTION PROJECTS” and address to

Not later than 19th February, 2014
Late submission of tender documents will not be entertained.
