Invitation for Submission of Technical Bids in Respect of 2014 Special Intervention Projects
(A) Introduction
Kaduna State University intends to utilize its 2014 TETFUND Special Interventions (SIP) in the procurement of works and goods as under:
Lot 1: Supply and Installation of High- Tech Teaching Aids including Smart Pro-multimedia Projectors and Video Conferencing Machines;
Lot 2: Construction and Equipping of Radiology Unit;
Lot 3: Supply and Installation of Medical Equipment for Clinical
Teachings;
Lot 4: Construction and Furnishing of 300 seater Lecture Hall at Kafanchan.
(B) Pre-Qualification Requirements
Reputable and interested contractors/vendors wishing to undertake the procurements are to indicate their intention by submitting Technical Bid documents in the following order:
(i) Evidence of Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
(ii) Evidence of current Tax Clearance for the last three (3) years;
(iii) Certified audited accounts for the last three (3) years;
(iv) Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed;
(v) Experience and technical capabilities of the company including names of key staff and their qualifications;
(vi) Evidence of financial capability/support and reference from a recognized Financial Institution/Bank:
(vii) Evidence of VAT registration and remittance in the last three (3) years;
(viii) Evidence of compliance with provision of the Pension Reform Act, 2004 as evidenced by a National PENCOM Commission Clearance Certificate;
(ix) Evidence of compliance with provision of the Industrial Training Fund Act, 2011 Section 6.
(C) General Information
(i) Submission is to be made in sealed envelope clearly marked: “TECHNICAL BID” indicating the Lot No.
(ii) Bid is to be enclosed in a single envelope properly addressed and submitted to the Secretary, Tenders Committee in the office of the Registrar, Kaduna State University, Tafawa Balewa Way, Kaduna on or before Tuesday March 17th 2015. Submission closes by 11.00am same day and bid opening commences immediately after at the Senate Chamber of the University.
(iii) Only pre-qualified respondents will be invited to submit financial bid.
(iv) This is only an invitation for solicitation to submit and does not bear any financial undertaking on the part of the University.
(v) All enquiries should be directed to the office of the Director, Physical Planning & Development, Kaduna State University.
(vi) The University reserves the right to make detailed search on documents submitted.
