Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender Exercise of Contractors for Year 2013 Needs Assessment of Nigerian Public Universities Presidential Intervention Phase II and 2013 Tetfund Special Intervention Projects.
In accordance with the requirements for due process for award of contracts for capital projects, the Olabisi Onabanjo University is hereby inviting interested and reputable contractors with relevant experience to pre-qualify and tender for the listed projects:
LOT 1 Construction of Faculty Block of Lecture Theatre and offices (Faculty of Education) Phase III, Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye.
LOT 2 Construction of 250-Seater Lecture Theatre for College of Engineering and Environmental Studies, Ibogun.
LOT 3 ICT Centre, Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye.
LOT 4 Rehabilitation of Department of Anatomy Laboratory (Furniture)
Eligibility:
Interested Contractors are invited to submit the following compulsory and mandatory documents:
(a) Evidence of Registration/incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission including CAC Registration form C02 and C07 containing list of Directors and Share Holders.
(b) Company Profile and Organization Structure (Academics and Professional Qualification of Key Personnel including Curriculum Vitae to be duly authenticated by individual staff).
(c) Tax Payer Identification Number (TIN)
(d) Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years i.e. 2011 -2013. (e) Evidence of Registration for Value Added Tax and Remittances
(f) Company Audited Account in the last Three (3) years i.e. 2011-2013.
(g) Company Letter Head indicating (i) Address (ii) Bankers Address (iii) Account Number and (iv) Sort Code.
(h) Letter of Financial Capability from Company’s Banker.
(i) Evidence of Payment of contribution to Industrial Training Fund (1TF). (j) Evidence of Registration with Olabisi Onabanjo University as a Contractor. (k) Last Bank Statement of Account of the Company.
(l) Evidence of Compliance with Part IV, Section 16 (6d) of the Public Procurement Act 2007 as it relates to Pension (Certificate or exemption from PENCOM).
(m) Evidence of relevant verifiable experience on familiar jobs in Nigeria over the last 5 years stating location, cost and duration of execution with letter of Award and Certificate of Completion.
(n) List of verifiable plants/equipment, which we reserve the right to inspect and confirm.
(o) Any additional information that may enhance the chance of the Contractor.
Collection of Bid Documents:
Detailed Specification and un-priced bill of quantities are obtainable in the office of the Acting Director. Directorate of Works, Services and Physical Planning, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye upon payment of non-refundable processing fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20.000.00) only for each of the LOT through the Point of Sales (POS) at the Bursary Department of the University between 8.00a.m. and 3.00p.m. daily.
Submission of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents:
The bidding documents (both Technical and Financial Bids) are to be submitted at the same time but in separate sealed envelopes indicating the LOT at the top-left corner of the envelope. The financial bid should clearly state the valid period. The name, address of the Company including e-mail address and mobile phone number of contact person should also be clearly written at the reverse side of the envelope. Not later than 16th February, 2015.
Opening of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents:
The Pre-qualification documents shall be publicly opened at the Senate Chamber, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye on Monday16th February, 2015 at 12 noon. All those who would have submitted their documents or their representatives by the deadline are hereby invited to the meeting for the opening of the pre-qualification documents. Only the tenders of pre-qualified contractors after assessment of pre-qualification documents shall be opened at a later date. The tender of unqualified contractors shall be returned unopened.
The University reserves the right to reject any bid that it deems not responsive and shall not enter into any correspondence with any Contractor/Company.
