Invitation For Submission Of Technical And Financial Bids For Tertiary Education Trust Fund, Fund Year 2013 Normal Intervention Projects at Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil
1.0 PREAMBLE
The Nigeria Police Academy Wudil is desirous of implementing some Projects to be financed from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, Year 2013 Normal Intervention Projects. Consequently, the Academy is hereby inviting reputable Contractors to bid for the implementation of the projects. Interested Contractors with experience in Building Construction and Supply/Installation of Publishing Equipment are hereby requested to submit Technical and Financial Bids for the Projects.
2.0 BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECTS

3.0 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
a. Evidence of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (C AC)
b. Current Tax Clearance Certificate
c. Evidence of Compliance with PENCOMAct2004
d. Current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate
e. Provision of Company’s VAT Certificate/Remittance
f. Evidence of Company’s financial capability or possible assistance from the Bank
g. Evidence of verifiable similar projects successfully executed in the past five (5)
You must clearly describe the listed Projects, stating Clients, dates of Award, Project duration, dates of completion -and cost, copies of Letters of Award, Photographs and Completion Certificates.
h. Health and Safety policy of the organization.
4.0 COLLECTION OF BIDS
Competent Bidders shall on evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of N20,000.00, in favour of Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, collect Standard Bidding Documents from:

5.0 SUBMISSION OF BIDS
Technical and Financial Bids(2 Hard copies and 1 Soft copy) shall be submitted in two different sealed envelopes labeled “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid” respectively
With the company’s name indicated on each Bid and at the back of each envelope. Both envelopes should be sealed and placed in a third envelope marked with the Name and Lot Number bided for, at the top right hand corner and the company’s name indicated at the back of the envelope and addressed to: The Commandant Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State
5.1 The closing date for submission of Bids is 12.00Noon, Tuesday, 26th August, 2014. {Six(6) Weeks from the date of publication.
6.0 OPENING OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
The Technical Bids shall be opened immediately after 12noon on Tuesday, 26th August 2014, in the Commandant’s Conference Room. All bidders are expected to attend. Interested Members of the Public and Private sector professionals in the Construction Industries, Non-Governmental Organizations and Journalists are invited to witness the opening of the bids.

• Only Bidders whose Technical Bids fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements will have their Financial Bids considered
• The Academy is neither obliged to shortlist any Contractor or to award the Contract to any Contractor or his Agent.
• The Academy reserves the right to reject any bid
• The Academy will only contact successful pre-qualified Contractors to partake in the financial tendering of the projects.
• The Academy will not enter into any form of correspondence with Bidding Contractors.
