Invitation for Prequalification of Contractors and Tender for UBEC Subeb Projects 2012
The Edo State Universal Basic Education Board hereby wishes to draw the attention of reputable Contractors /Suppliers /Consultants to the above mentioned subject matter.
The projects to be executed include:
(i) Construction of new classroom blocks in ECCDE, Primary Schools
(ii) Renovation/Rehabilitation of existing classroom blocks in Primary Schools.
(iii) Construction of perimeter wall fence in Primary Schools.
(iv) Supply and delivery of furniture for ECCDE, Primary School Pupils and Teachers.
These are part of the Universal Basic Education Commission/Edo State Government intervention through SUBEBforthequarters1st – 4th of 2012.
2. Interested Contractors/Suppliers should submit their Company profile and in addition, to the following documents.
(a) Evidence of Registration of Business Name with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
(b) Possession of Tax Clearance Certificate for the immediate past three years.
(c) Evidence of Performance of similar job(s) with certificate of payment(s).
(d) Evidence of Registration with the State Universal Basic Education Board, Benin City.
3. Submission of documents should be in a sealed envelope of 16 X 12cm and marked “Prequalification/Tender” on the top left hand corner and to reach the Director (PR&S), SUBEB on or before 16th December 2013 by 2.00pm. The envelope will be opened publicly by 2:30pm same day in the premises of the Board.
4. Important Notice:
(a) Contractors are advised to collect Company profile format from the Office of the Director (PR & S), SUBEB during office hours.
(b) The Physical Planning Unit reserves the right to verify any claim by potential bidders.
(c) Contractors are advised to collect tender documents from the Office of Planning Research and Statistics Department.
(d) This advertisement of “Invitation to Tender” shall not be construed to be commitment on the part of the Board to award any form of contract to any company.
(e) Defaulting contractors with Edo State Universal Basic Education Board that are yet to complete their project(s) need not tender.
