Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors to Tender for jobs stated below:

The Government of Enugu State, through the Ministry of Education Enugu, invites interested and competent Contractors to tender for the construction of secondary school desks and supply of science equipment to secondary schools in Enugu as indicated on the table below:

2.       Pre-Qualification/Tender Requirements

The pre-qualification/Tender requirements are as follows:

a)     Evidence of Contractors registration with the Ministry of Education.

b)    Evidence of contractors registration with State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure.

c)     Evidence of registration with corporate Affairs Commission (C.A.C.)

d)    Three (3) YEARS Tax Clearance (2011, 2012 and 2013).

e)     Company Profile (Staff resume, Organizational Structure and Equipment).

f)      Resume of past similar jobs carried out and documents to show.

g)     Three (3) years Audited Company Account (2011,2012 and 2013).

h)    Evidence of financial capability from a known Bank (Ability to raise N10m).

i)       Evidence of payment of VAT.

j)       Detailed Contractors quality control/Assurance (documents/Pictures) and

k)    Any other information that could enhance the potential of the Company

Tender Documents/Submission:

(a)  The pre-qualification documents must be in a sealed envelope and clearly Marked “PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR EITHER CONSTRUCTION OF SCHOOL DESKS OR SUPPLY OF SCIENCE EQUIPMENT” with the lot Number clearly written and must be submitted on or before 17th December, 2013.

(b) The bid/Tender documents must also be in a separate sealed envelope and clearly written Bid/Tender Documents for the same project. Always write the Lot Number boldly on the envelope.

(c)  Applicants are to pay non-refundable processing fee of fifty thousand naira (N50,000.00) for The Construction of School Desks or Fifty thousand naira (N50,000.00) for Supply of Science Equipment) for  any lot and the envelops should be marked “CONFIDENTIAL” and should be submitted to Planning, Research and Statistics (P.R.S.) Department on or before 24^th December, 2013 at the Ministry Conference hall by 11.00 am prompt.

NOTE: Bids opening will take place on the 27th December 2013 at Ministry of Education Head quarters. Pre-qualification and the lowest tender are not guarantees for winning the contracts.
