Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors for the Implementation of the TETFUND, Year 2013 Special Intervention Projects in Niger State College of Education, Minna, Niger State.
The Niger State College of Education, Minna, Niger State desires to implement some of the priotised projects to be financed with fund from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, as the result, the College is to pre-qualify reputable contractors to bid for the implementation of the projects. Interested contractors with experience are hereby invited to submit their prequalification documents for consideration.
1. Projects
1. Lot 1 Construction and furnishing of 500 capacity Lecture Theatre and collapsible seat
2. Lot 2 Procurement of 1No. 30 seater Toyota Coaster Bus.
3. Lot 3 Procurement and Installation of Solar Plant with 200Nos. Street Lights for Academic Area
2. Conditions for Eligibility
Interested contractors/suppliers are expected to show evidence of the following to be eligible for pre-qualification evaluation, Mandatory Requirements (Original Documents must be presented for sighting)
- Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
- Current Tax Clearance for the past three year 2011, 2012 and 2013.
- VAT Registration.
- Evidence; of registration with Pencom Act 2004.
- Evidence of registration with ITF.
- Company profile with key technical staff that will be involved in the project(s).
- Verifiable list of equipment/machineries or owned by the company.
- Evidence verifiable list of similar jobs or supplies successfully executed by the company.
- Evidence of financial capability and support letter(s) from a reputable bank.
- Companies audited account for the past three years.
3. Submission of Pre-Qualification Bids
Pre-qualification documents as listed above should be neatly bound in wax sealed envelope and marked “Pre-qualification for LOT…………….” (with the project title and LOT Number) written at the right hand corner and submitted to:

Niger Sate College of Education,
Minna, Niger State
To reach him not later than 12.00noon on 20th May, 2014.
4. Opening
All received pre-qualification Bids shall be opened on the 20th May, 2014 at the College Board Room by 10.00am. All Bidders, interested members of the public are invited to witness the opening exercise as scheduled.
5. Important Notice
All applicants are to note that:-
1. Only firms capable of executing the jobs would be notified.
2. Nothing in this advert shall be construed to be a commitment by Niger State College of Education, Minna, Niger State.
3. Failure to comply with any of the above instruction or to provide any of the above listed documents may automatically result in disqualification.
4. The College shall not enter into any correspondence with unsuccessful bidders.
