Invitation for Pre-Qualification of Contractors and Tender for Year 2012 Tetfund Normal Intervention Projects
1.0 Introduction:
The Institution is hereby inviting reputable contractors to submit pre-qualification documents and tender bids for the underlisted 2012 TETFUND Normal Intervention projects.
Lot 1 – Construction of Department of Fine Arts
Lot 2 – Construction of Block of Staff Offices (Type C)
Lot 3 – Construction of Block of Lecture Halls
Lot 4 – Procurement of 18 Nos of Various Equipments for Bindery Workshop
Lot 5- Procurement of Mikano Generator, Pallet Truck and 2 Nos of Various Equipments for Food Processing, Fashion Design, Art & Decoration
Lot 6 – Procurement of 7 Nos of Various Equipment for Block Making
Lot 7 – Procurement of 129 Nos of Various Office Furniture and Equipment,
2.0 Pre-Qualification Requirements:
Prospective contractors shall be required to submit the following pre-qualification documents:
- Evidence of registration as a contractor with Osun State Polytechnic, Iree
- Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission
- Articles and Memorandum of Association.
- List and Resume of Management and Key Staff (Technical) and photocopies of academic qualification certificates and evidences of registration with relevant Professional Bodies.
- Evidence of Registration of Business Premises with Osun State Government
- Evidence of payment of Osun State Capital Development Levy
- Evidence of Tax clearance certificate for the last three (3) years
- Evidence of VAT registration and past VAT remittance
- Evidence of financial strength, credit worthiness and solvency (Reference Letter, Statement of Account e.t.c.)
- Evidence of Audited Accounts of the Company for the last three (3) years
- Evidence of similar projects successfully executed with their location (copies of letters of award, certificate of completion e.t.c. to be attached)
3.0 Collection Of tender Documents:
Tender documents are to be collected on the payment of non-refundable tender fee at the Bursary Department of the Institution as follows:

- Verification of claims:
Please note that Osun State Polytechnic Iree reserves the right to verify claims made in the pre-qualification documents submitted by the interested contractors
- Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents and Tender Bids:
- Pre-qualification documents and tender bids should be neatly packaged separately in a sealed envelope each and to be clearly marked ‘Pre-Qualification for Year 2012 TETFUND Intervention Projects and ‘Tender Bid for Year 2012 TETFUND Intervention Projects’ indicating the project and the lot at the top left hand corner of the envelopes which should be addressed to the Secretary, Tenders Committee, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree. It should be submitted not later than Tuesday 18th November 2014.
- The contact person’s name, GSM number and contact address should be indicated at the back of the sealed envelope,

- All bidders are invited to the tender(s) opening meeting. The date, venue and time shall be communicated via SMS.
- The Polytechnic is not under any obligation to accept the lowest or highest bids).
