Invitation for Pre-Qualification
1. Introduction
The University of Port Harcourt intends to carry out Construction and Procurement of the following TETFUND Projects:

| 10. | Construction of Department of Fisheries, Faculty of Agriculture |
| 11. | Supply and Installation of Office Equipment and furniture |
| 12. | Construction of Academic Staff Offices for Faculty of Law |

Contractors who have tendered before for the above projects (Advertised July 15 26, 2013) can apply again
2. Eligibility Criteria:
Interested and competent contractors wishing to be pre-qualified must submit the following:
i) Evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
ii) Tax Clearance and VAT Certificates for the last three years.
iii) Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three years
iv) Evidence of financial capacity from a reputable bank.
v) Detailed Company Profile.
vi) Evidence of experience of similar jobs executed in the last five years.
vii) Evidence of compliance with Pension reform Act 2004 (as amended).
viii) Evidence of compliance with the amended Industrial training Fund Act, 2011.
ix) A Sworn affidavit that no Board member of the University of Port Harcourt has vested interest in the company.
x) A Sworn affidavit that none of the Directors has been convicted in any country of any criminal offence.
3. Collection of Pre-Qualification Form
The pre-qualification forms should be collected in the office of the Director, Department of Physical Planning & Development, Senate Building, Permanent Site.
4. Submission of the Pre-Qualification Documents:
Document must be in sealed envelopes, labeled “pre-qualification for (appropriate project)” or “Expression of Interest” for (appropriate project)” at the top left hand corner and addressed/hand delivered to:

5. Deadline for Submission
Tender closes at 12.00 noon, on 17th February 2014. The deadline for submission will close at 12.00 noon, on Monday, 17th February 2014. The bids will be opened on the same day at 12.00 noon, in the Senate Chambers of the University Senate Building, in the presence of all bidders, financing/regulatory bodies, Professional bodies and Non-Governmental Agencies.
