Invitation for Pre-Qualification
A. Introduction
The College hereby invites competent and reputable contractors to pre-quality tor the under-listed projects under the 2011 and 2012 merged TETfund Interventions in library development:
Lot 1: Procurement of assorted textbooks and reference materials.
Lot 2: Installation, Construction and Configuration of integrated
Library management system application, 25-point library
Internet set up and one year full internet subscription
Lot 3: Procurement of HP computer sets with all the accessories including pack cabinet (6 partitions)
Lot 4: Supply and Installation of Alternative power supply system via inverter.
Lot 5: Procurement of library equipment
PRE-Qualification Requirements:
The following documents must be tendered for consideration:
- Company Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Evidence of experience in similar projects showing photograph(s) and certificate of completion.
- Evidence of qualified technical and administrative staff
- Evidence of company’s financial capability supported by the Banker’s report
- Up-dated tax clearance for the last three(3) years
- VAT registration certificate
- Evidence of compliance with PENCOM
- Compliance with Industrial Training fund ITF.
C. Submission and Opening:
i. Each contractor is expected to submit his/her pre-qualification documents in line with section ‘B’ in sealed envelope on or before 12:00 noon of 7th April, 2014. Submission is to be made to the office of the Registrar/Secretary to the Tenders’ Board, Kogi State College of Education, P.M.B. 1033, Ankpa, and must be clearly marked ‘Pre-Qualification’ for any of the project with the lot number
ii. The pre-qualification documents shall be opened on the same day in the council chamber of the College with all the willing contractors in attendance.
iii. Names of companies pre-qualified will be posted on the College notice board within 2 days after the opening exercise.
iv. Bidders are to note that participation in the pre-qualification exercise does not guarantee any company the right to be considered for Tender proposal.
D. Tender Bids
i. All pre-qualified bidders will be required to buy full tender bids for a non-refundable fee of thirty thousand naira (N30, 000.00) only for any of the Lots.
ii. All completed tender bids must be returned to the Registrar/Secretary to the Tenders’ Board on or before 12:00 noon of 28th April, 2014 and shall be opened immediately for full tender processes.
Note: Only reputable and competent contractors need apply as payment may not be made for job not yet done.
