Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender for Projects
Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board, Jalingo has been granted Approval for the implementation of UBEC/TSUBEB Matching grant Action Plan. The Action Plans are guided towards the new construction of classrooms, Library, Laboratories, Rehabilitation of dilapidated classrooms, Library & Laboratories and supply of classrooms & Teachers furniture, Library & Laboratory equipment across the selected primary schools and JSS.
In view of the above, Taraba State Universal Basic Education Board, Jalingo intends to use the fund for the aforementioned.
The Board desires that interested Companies/Firm to submit prequalification documents for the execution of these projects.
ii. Scope of Projects
- New construction and rehabilitation of classrooms in some selected ECCDE; primary & junior secondary schools in the state.
- New construction of Library & Laboratories in some selected Junior Secondary School in the state.
- Supply of Classrooms and Teachers furniture.
- Rehabilitation of Classrooms, dinning hall, Hostels and Toilets.
- Supply of White boards, Magic dusters and dry markers.
iii. Pre Qualification Requirements
The pre-qualification documents must contain the following:
- Evidence of company registration with Corporate Affairs Commission,
- Evidence of up to date payment of annual returns with Cooperate Affairs Commission
- Registration with the board as Contractor,
- Company Tax Clearance for the three (3) years.
- Verifiable list of similar jobs successfully executed with their locations, photocopies of letters of award and payment certificates enclosed as evidence. The Board reserves the right to verify accuracy of these or any claims.
- Evidence of Financial and Banking support,
- Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years,
- VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittances,
- All relevant information concerning contracts, telephone, fax, email etc of the company.
- Experiences and Technical Qualification of key personnel.
- Equipment plants ant Technical capacity.
- Annual turnover,
- Any other useful information.
iv. General Condition
a. All pre-qualification (PQ) document are to be bound and seal in an envelope with the title “Pre-Qualification” and to be submitted to the office of the DPRS, TSUBEB, Jalingo not later than 22nd April, 2014. The pre-qualification documents shall be opened by 10:00 am, same day at the premises of the board.
b. Pre-qualification Companies/Firm shall be informed of the outcome of assessment not later seven (7) days after the opening of the PQ documents
c. Pre-qualified Companies/Firms will pay tender fees of (N15, 000,00) prior to commencement of the projects and or collection of tender documents
d. Pre-qualified Companies/Firms should contact the DPRS on all enquiries or grey areas pertaining to the projects.
