Invitation for Pre-qualification and Tender for the Execution of various contract for Water Supply, Rural Electrification and Construction/Rehabilitation of Rural Feeder Roads Under 2013 Planned Programs
The Taraba State Ministry of Water and Rural Development is inviting competent and interested contractors to prequalify and tender for the under listed contracts approved in its 2013 budget:-
Lot 1. Rehabilitation of 35km Mararaban- Kunini to Kwatan Sarki Road in Lau LGA
Lot 2. Reconstruction 25km Bachama-Filiya Road in Karim Lamido LGA
Project Scope:
The Scope of work in each project includes: Expansion, Grading and
Lateriting, Construction of culverts and opening of water ways.
Please note that interested company (s) is free to apply for one or both lots.
2. Pre- qualification and tender evaluation criteria
The prequalification and tendering criteria include the following
i. Evidence of up to date company registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
ii. Evidence of tax clearance for the last (3) three years
iii. Evidence of financial capability and bank bond where applicable
iv. Evidence of registration and to date payment of FIR.
v. Evidence of technical/professional experience in similar jobs,
vi. Evidence of payment of tender registration fees
vii. Evidence of registration with Taraba State Government
3. Submission of prequalification and tender document
a. Purchase and submission of Tender documents closes exactly 4th November, 2013 upon payment of a non refundable application fee of N150,000.00 payable to the ministry. Opening of bids and evaluation commences immediately by 12 noon the same day. Only successful applicants will be invited for formalization of contract award.
b Completed prequalification of tender document shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with name(s) of the project marked on the left hand side of the envelop and address to the permanent secretary Ministry Of water Resources And Rural Development P.M.B. 1033 Jalingo Taraba State.
