Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Tender
1.0 Introduction
The Gwagwalada Area Council intends to engage the services of credible and reputable companies for selected works under the year 2014.
1.2 The Area Council therefore wishes to invite reputable companies for pre- qualification/tender for the works categorized under the following lots:

Lot 1 – Construction of Giri Township road
Lot 2 – Purchase and installation of transformer and extension of electricity at Anagada
Lot 3 – Extension of portable water scheme to Kuje road layout
Lot 4 – Purchase and installation of 500 KVA 330 415 KVA transformer and extension of electricity to Kuje road layout
Lot 5 – Purchase and installation of 500 KVA transformer at Kutunku II
Lot 6 – Purchase and installation of 500 KVA transformer at Kutunku V
Lot 7 – Purchase and installation of transformer and extension of power lines at Venus road Dagiri
Lot 8 – Construction of Culverts and Rehabilitation of 13km Dukpa-Rafin-Zurfi-Ibwa road
Lot 9 – Construction of Prototype Health Clinic at Giri and Dobi
Lot 10 – Supply of fabricated waste disposal bins
Lot 11- Construction of Public Toilet on P.P.P in Six Different Locations within the Area Council
Lot 12- Construction of International Fruit Market at Zuba on P.P.P
Lot 13- Construction of Public Toilet at the Secretariat
Lot 14- Provision of security services to the Area Council
Lot 15- Revenue generation consultant (s)
2.0 Eligible Criteria
(a) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission including Certificate of Incorporation and Article of Association
(b) Last three (3) years Tax Clearance Certificate
(c) Vat registration with evidence of remittance
(d) Comprehensive company profile
(e) List of similar jobs executed previously
(f) Verifiable evidence of financial support by reputable bank
(g) Audited Account details for the last three (3) years
(h) Evidence of pension registration and remittances
(i) Certificate of compliance with sections 6 (1) – (3) of the industrial training fund Amendment Act – 2011
3.0 Collection of Tender Documents
Tender documents are to be collected from Works Department upon presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fees of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) only for each lot to Revenue Account No: 20201S6524 with First Bank Plc Gwagwalada Branch.
4.0 Submission of Pre-Qualification/Tender Documents
Interested bidders are to submit pre-qualification and tender documents in two different sealed envelopes appropriately marked “Pre-qualification” and “Tender” with the Company name indicated at the back of each envelop.
Both envelopes marked with the Lot No. on the top right hand corner and addressed to the Secretary Tender Board and to be deposited to the Tender Board Box placed in the Conference Hall Gwagwalada Area Council Secretariat.
Completed documents should be submitted not later than 12.00 noon local time 22nd December, 2014. The Tender shall be opened on the same day in the Conference Hall of Gwagwalada Area Council, interested bidders or their representatives are hereby invited to attend the opening Bid.
5.0 Conclusion
The Board reserves the right to verify the authenticity of claims made in the documents submitted. The Board will not be responsible for any cost of expenses incurred by any interested party in connection with any response to the invitation.
The Board is not bound to shortlist any bidder and reserves the right there to on selection process at any time without incurring liabilities. The Tender Boards reserves the right to reject any tender in part or in full due to non conformity with the guidelines.
The Tender Board is not bound to accept the lowest tender
