Invitation for 2015 Pre-qualification of Bidders
1.0 Introduction
In line with the provision of the public procurement Act, 2007, the Nigerian Television Authority hereby invites interested, competent and experienced contractors to submit application to pre-qualify for the supply of equipment/spare parts and furniture.
2.0 Scope of Work
(1) Lot 1: Supply of transmitter equipment
(2) Studio transmission/reception production and post-Production equipment
(3) Satellite equipment/microwave links/spare parts
(4) OB Van- DSNG Van/Spares
(5) Operation vehicles/spare parts
(6) Generator/spare parts
(7) Air conditioner/electrical spares/lighting equipment
(8) Office equipment/computers and accessories
(9) Production of magazine (Contact, this is NTA etc)
(10) Supply of Diesel
(11) Construction of Studio Complexes
(12) Construction and erection of television mast
3.0 Eligibility Criteria
Prospective applicants are expected to submit the following as Minimum qualification:-
(a) Detailed company profile
(b) Evidence of registration with professional bodies such as COREN, ARCONS etc.
(c) Evidence of current tax clearance certificate for at least three (3) years
(d) Evidence of compliance with the industrial training fund amendment Act 2011
(e) Company’s audited accounts ford least three (3) years
(f) Evidence of financial capacity/reference letter from a reputable bank,
(g) Evidence of experience and similar jobs undertaken
(h) Evidence of compliance with pension reform Act 2004
4.0 Submission of Application
Completed applications are to be enclosed sealed and be clearly marked “Technical” at the top corner of the envelope.
Bidders are required to submit copies of their expression of interest containing correct area of core competencies/lots and addressed to
The Director General, NTA,
Area 11, Garki – Abuja.
All applications should be dropped in the bid box situated at the central Admin registry permanent site, Headquarter, Abuja.
5.0 Submission Closing Date and Time
Closing date for the submission of application is on 26th March, 2015 by 12 noon.
6.0 Opening Date and Time
Applications will be opened immediately after the closing date and time (26/3/2015) at the Authority’s conference Room, Area 11, Garki-Abuja
7.0 Other Information
(a) Only contractors whose application meet the minimum requirements would be attended to.
(b) All inquiries should be directed to the Procurement Unit, NTA Headquarters, Area 11, Garki-Abuja
