1.0 Introduction:
Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) is facilitating the redevelopment and remodelling of an existing district market in Apo Resettlement.
The prospective investors will undertake the provision of a commercially viable design concept offering best value for money in modest and economic solutions that will lead to a successfully re-modelled and re-invented shopping space which works well for the users at every level befitting of the Federal Capital Territory.
2.0 Project Location:
Plot No. 1460 Apo, Abuja
The project covers a Land parcel of approximately 4.726 hectares. It is a strategic location housing the city’s middle class population which is also an area with on-going housing development in massive numbers.
3.0 Project Description:
The project involves proposing a master plan that addresses vehicular and pedestrian circulation incorporating maximum flexibility and expandability in the layout plan that projects future growth of the market. The project calls for the development of a well-designed commercial hub of world class standard taking into consideration fire prevention measures, safety and security of occupants and also provision of good road network, drainages and other essential utilities as well as good service connections. The proposed design should clearly outline accessibility to the physically challenged, structures that are well-ventilated and naturally lighted.
4.0 Funding Model:
The project plot will be offered to the successful bidder at a rate to be negotiated at the conclusion of the bidding process.
5.0 Requirements:
- The company must be duly registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- The company must have an up-to-date Tax Clearance and VAT Certificate.
- Bank guarantee.
- Tender fees payable to Aso Savings and Loans, Area 8, Garki Abuja.
- Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in the last 3 years.
- Evidence of Pension contribution for employees of company.
- Certified true copy of Memorandum and article of Association.
- The company must have provided or be providing consultancy services to Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies or reputable Multinational companies.
- The company must have an Office in Abuja.
- Corporate profile of the firm including list of equipment, CV of key personnel supported by Professional licenses, registered address, functional contact, email address, phone number(s).
- Audited accounts of the last three (3) years duly stamped by licensed auditors.
- Evidence of competence in Construction and Project Management.
