Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development Advertisement of Request for Quotation (REQ) for the provision of 7 No. Solar Powered Water Supply in the State

A.      Project Contract No: KBSTB/MWRD/175/2013

1.       Construction of 7 No. Solar Boreholes at Itawo, Rangi [shanga L/Govt] Karugagi [Kalgo LGov’t] Tullun Ada, Tonga [Argungu L/Govt] Jadadi [Koko-Besse [L/GOVT] Maitsani Rugga (B/KEBB1 L/GOVT] respec­tively.

2.       Scope of Works for the two Projects shall include the followings:

A.      Drilling of a complete 150mm dia Borehole with SQ type solar powered pump.

B.      Construction of 22.5m3 welded tank 6m tower.

C.      Supply and installation of solar modules.

D.      Construction of control room and fencing works

E.      Provision of water points and commissioning apron.

4.       Qualification of Firms responding to the (RFQ):

Water Engineering Firms, representatives of manufacturers of water materials etc. In presenting quotation must show clear evidence of:

a.       Payment of corporate taxes PAYE, VAT etc.

b.       Kebbi State Tenders Board Registration Certificate

c.       Letter of confirmation by applicant’s Bankers on having financial capacity to executive the contract

d.       Certificate of incorporation for companies/consulting firms.

e.       Memorandum and Articles of Association

f.       Registration with Professional/Regulatory bodies as would be applicable.

g.       List of Company/Consulting Firms machineries, equipment and instruments.

h.       List of previous works/services executed within Kebbi State and evidence of performance.

i.        List of company/consulting firms personnel including qualification and years of experience in the field.

j.        Third party insurance.

Deadline for Submission of Quotation

All interested companies are to submit their quotation for the project on or before 20^th February 2014.

The Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development Kebbi State reserves the right to reject any quota­tion that does not meet its requirements.
