Invitation for Pre-Qualification to Tender for Construction, Supply and Installation Works for Year 2013/2014 Merged Tetfund Normal Intervention
Applications are hereby invited from reputable and interested contractors with relevant experience, good track record and financial capability for pre-qualification to tender for Construction, Supply and Installation Works for year 2013/2014 TETFUND intervention in the Cross River State College of Education, Akamkpa.
1. Scope of Work:
Lot 1. Construction of 2-Storey Academic Block
Lot 2. Construction of Twin Workshop Block
Lot 3. Construction of Home Economics Management Block
Lot 4. Supply and Installation of Classroom Seats for the 2-Storey Academic Block
Lot 5. Supply and Installation of Seats at the College Pavilion
Lot 6. Supply of Office Furniture
Lot 7. Supply and Installation of Technical Education Equipment
Lot 8. Supply of 30-Seater Coaster Bus
Lot 9. Supply and Installation of 300KVA Generator
- Pre-Qualification Requirements
(i) Only contractors that have proven technical and financial capabilities, relevant experience and good track record will be considered for pre-qualification to tender.
(ii) Verifiable list of previous similar works successfully carried out within the last three years with names of clients, evidence of award and practical completion certificates.
(iii) Company profile and organizational structure, including names and telephone numbers of key personnel.
(iv) Evidence of incorporation of Company by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(v) Company tax clearance certificate for the last three (3) years
(vi) Equipment and Technical capacity
(vii) VAT Registration and evidence of past VAT remittances
(viii) Experience and Technical qualifications of key personnel (copies of
professional certificates and CVs are to be attached).
(ix) Audited Annual Financial Report of the Company for the last three (3) years.
(x) Evidence of registration as Contractor with the Cross River State Due Process and Price Intelligence Department.
(xi) Evidence from Company’s Bankers as to its financial strength, worthiness and solvency,
(xii) A sworn affidavit indicating that all documents submitted are genuine and available.
- Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents
(i) Bound pre-qualification documents in well-sealed envelope with the project title boldly written at the top left hand corner, should be addressed to:

(ii) Arrangement of documents should follow the list in 3 (i – xii) above, appropriately numbered with a table of content indicating the pages or folios in which these items are to be found.
(iii) Deadline for submission of Pre-qualification documents is Wednesday March 04, 2015 on or before 12 noon.
- Please Note:
(i) Late submission will be rejected.
(ii) All payments in respect to tender documents are non-refundable.
(iii) The College is not liable to any contractor who is not pre-qualified or fails to get the award and will not engage in any form of correspondence with any bidding contractor.
