Invitation For Pre-Qualification For Tertiary Education Trust Fund (Tetfund) Library Development Intervention Projects
The Rivers State University of Science and Technology desires to execute some projects under the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Library Development intervention projects 2009- 2011 (MERGED). Consequently, competent and reputable registered Contractors/Suppliers are requested to forward their documents for purposes of per-qualification.
PROJECTS/SCOPE OF WORK
A.Procurement of Assorted Text Books
Supply of various Titles in:
- Agricultural Sciences,
- Medical Laboratory Science,
- Computer Science,
- Environmental Science,
- Engineering,
- Education,
- Mass Communication,
- Management, Journals, etc.
B. Procurement of Furniture and Equipment
- Standard Library students’ chair,
- Reading camels,
- Library Shelves,
- Book End,
- Sharp Photocopy Machine,
- Steel Trolley, etc.
REQUIREMENTS PER-QUALIFICATION
- Collection and completion of University Pre-qualification form with a non – refundable deposit of N20,000,00.
- Certificate of Incorporation or Registration of Business Name,
- Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years
- Verifiable evidence of the existence of a functional office or location of business.
- Verifiable evidence to show that Contractor or Supplier has handled supply of Library books and or furniture/ equipment,
- In the case of supply of furniture and equipment, proof of availability of stock.
GENERAL INFORMATION
(i) Interested, reputable, competent and registered Contractors/ Suppliers, in any of the above categories should:
- Proceed to the Office of the Director of Works to collect the Clearance Certificate for participation
- Proceed to the Bursary Department with the Clearance Certificate and pay the non-refundable deposit of N20.000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira only) through University’s Point of Sale (POS).
- Obtain University official receipt from the Bursary Department before proceeding to the office of the Director of Works to collect the pre-qualification Form.
(ii) Completed pre-qualification forms and other documents should be submitted to the office of the Director of Works on or before Thursday, 5th February, 2015.
(iii) After the pre-qualification exercise, the names of the short-listed Companies will be published on the Notice Board of the Estate and Works Department and the Central Library.
(iv) Only short-listed Contractors/Suppliers, for each category, will be issued Tender documents.
