Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Kabba,invites interested, competent, registered and reputable contractors to submit their pre-qualification and tender documents for the underlisted project to be funded through the TETFUND 2013 Special Intervention:
2 NO; 300 CAPACITY LECTURE HALL (broken down as follows)
Lot 1: Construction of 1 No. 300 Capacity Lecture Hall for School of Technical Education
Lot 2: Construction of 1 No. 300 Capacity Lecture Hall for School of Sciences
MANDATORY PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Evidence of incorporation of the company with the Corporate Affairs Commission (C.A.C)
2. Evidence of current tax clearance certificate (2011, 2012 and 2013)
3. Evidence of VAX certificate and VAT remittances to Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS)
4. Company profile with list of staff including curriculum vitae, competence, qualifications, registration with professional bodies and experience of key personnel
5. Evidence of previous similar projects executed in the last three(3) years including scope and site of project, contract sum and evidence of Successful completion.
6. Evidence of current audited accounts of company for the last three (3)years
7. Evidence of financial capability and bank statement of account for the last three months and letter authorizing the College to verify same from the bank
8. Verifiable list of equipment to be deployed for the project, indicating evidence of ownership, leased location and condition of the equipment.
9. Sworn affidavit that the company is not bankrupt and that none of the directors is an ex-convict or bankrupt.
10.Evidence of compliance with the provisions of the Pension Act (for 2014).
Collection of Pre-qualification and Tender Documents
Interested contractors should collect tender documents from the office of the Director of Works, Kogi State College of Education (Technical) Kabba on presentation of evidence of payment of a non-refundable fee of fifty thousand naira (N50,000:00) only in the College Account NO. 2016133242 with the First Bank PLC
SUBMISSION OF PREQUALIFICATION AND TENDER DOCUMENTS
The pre-qualification and tender documents should be neatly bound and each sealed in separate envelope and labeled, ‘Pre-qualification and Financial Bid respectively. The two envelopes should be enclosed in a common envelope, wax sealed and
addressed to:

The company’s name and address should be indicated on the reverse side of the envelope. The envelope should be hand-delivered to the office of the Registrar on or before 21 st January, 2015 not later than 12 noon on the closing date.
The Pre-qualification and bid documents will be opened at 1:00pm on the closing date in the council hall of the college
IMPORTANT NOTICE
1. The documents should be arranged and submitted in the order they appear above
2. Further submission after the specified time would not be accepted
3. All prospective contractors or their representatives are advised to attend the pre-qualification and tender opening
4. Originals of documents must be produced for sighting during the opening ceremony
5. Only tenders of those pre-qualified will be opened.
6. The College reserves the right to reject any or all of the pre-qualification and tender submissions.
7. This advertisement is not a commitment on the part of the College to award the contract to any contractor nor shall it
entitle any company which submitted documents to claim indemnity from the College.
