The Edo State Institute of Technology & Management, Usen invites competent and reputable Contractors who may wish to “pre-qualify and tender” for the TETFUND 2013 Normal Intervention Projects.
Construction of Academic Staff offices, procurement of various laboratory and science equipment, furniture, generating set and Air conditioners.
Pre-Qualification Documents:
Interested contractors are required to submit their company’s profiles which must include but not limited to the following documents:
(i) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
(ii) Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
(iii) Value Added Tax/Evidence of Tax Remittance.
(iv) Bank Reference Letter/Bank Support showing evidence of financial capability to execute the project.
(v) List of similar and verifiable projects successfully executed by the company with locations, letters of award and completion certificates within the past (4) years.
(vi) List of plants and machineries owned or hired by the company. The location and identification mark of the plant/ equipment should be well specified and verifiable at short notice. False information will be penalized.
(vii) Evidence of compliance with ITF requirements.
(viii) Evidence of compliance with PENCOM requirements.
(ix) Please state clearly your Company’s full address, GSM Phone number and e-mail address for ease of communication.
Submission Procedure:
All pre-qualification and financial bid documents must be in separate sealed envelopes. The top-right hand corner of the envelopes shall be marked
Pre-Qualification for (Project Name) and FINANCIAL BID FOR (project Name) respectively and should be hand-delivered on or before 31st March, 2014. Pre-qualification and Financial bid documents will be opened on the same day in the Institute Chamber by 12.00 noon in the presence of all representatives of the companies who choose to attend.
All documents should be addressed to The Registrar, Edo State Institute of Technology & Management, Usen, and dropped in the tender box in the Registrar’s Office.
Collection of Bid Documents:
All intending bidders should collect financial bid documents from the Office of the Director of Works upon payment of non-refundable tender fee of N20,000.00 (Twenty thousand Naira) for each project in the Bursary Department.
Please Note:
1) The participation in the bid does not guarantee any person the right to be selected or given any job.
2) That by the submission of Pre-qualification documents, the Institute is neither committed nor obliged to award the lowest bidder any contract as the final approval is to be given by Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) the sponsors of the project.
3) That this advertisement for invitation to Pre-qualification/bid shall not be misconstrued as a commitment on the part of the Institute, nor shall entitle any Contractor/Firm to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the Institute.
4) The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all expression of interest and to terminate the selection process at any time without any liability to the Institute.
5) Any bid submitted after the closing date shall not be considered.
