Advertisement for Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Supply and or Installation of Electrification Materials for Various Electrification Projects

This is to request for quotation (RFQ) from electrical engineering firms.

Scope of Works

The scope of works for the projects shall include the following:

i.        Site clearance, survey and pegging.

ii.       Digging of holes for HT & LT poles, dressing and stringing of alluminium conductor.

iii.      Construction of substation fencing and plinth, installation of transformers        and other electrical materials.

iv.      Connection to the national grid.

v.       500KVA/11KV transformers

vi.      100mm (alluminium conductor steel re-enforced (ACSR)

vii.     70mm alluminium conductor

viii.    Civil works

Only registered companies currently resident in the state and currently exiting similar project are invited to submit their quotations.

3.       Qualification of Firms Responding to the RFQ

Electrical Engineering firms, representatives of Manufacturers of electrical materials etc. in present quotation must show clear of:

(a)     Tax clearance certificate

(b)     Tenders Board Registration certificate

(c)     Letters of confirmation by applicant s Bankers on having financial capacity to execute the contract.

(d)     Certification of incorporation for companies/consulting firms

(e)      Memorandum and Articles of Association

(f)      Registration with Professional/Regulatory Bodies as would be applicable.

(g)     List of company/consulting firms personnel including qualification and year of experience in the field.

(h)     List of the company/consulting firm’s machineries, equipment and instruments.

(i)      List of previous works/services executed and evidence of performance.

4.       Submission of Quotations

Electrical engineering firms, representatives of manufacturers of electrical materials etc are to submit their quotations for the project at 2.00pm, on or before 27^th March 2014.

The Ministry of Water Resources and Rural Development and the General Manager Rural Electricity Board Kebbi State reserve the right to reject any quotation that does not meet its requirements.
