Invitation for Tender
Introduction:
The University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku/Ozalla, Enugu hereby invites interested and competent contractors to tender for the under-listed project:-
Scope of work:
Construction of Cottage Hospital at Umana Ndiagu Ezeagu L.G.A. Enugu State.
Prospective contractors shall be required to submit the following:
I) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs
II) Tax clearance certificate for three (3) years
III) A comprehensive company’s profile with curriculum vitae of principal/technical officers/Equipments
IV) Verifiable evidence of previous experience in similar projects,
V) Reference letter from a reputable bank stating that the contractor has the financial ability to secure the requisite funding for the execution of the project
VI) Evidence of VAT certificate.
VII) Evidence of registration with industrial Trust Fund(ITF)
VIII) Evidence of registration with professional body e.g ARCON, COREN etc.
Note:
Original of documents must be produced for sighting during the opening ceremony. 2% bid security must be provided by any contractor who wins the award.
Submission of Bid:
I) All tender documents should be submitted in sealed envelope and marked “Tender for-Construction of Cottage Hospital” and addressed to:
Chief Medical Director
University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku/Ozalla,
Enugu
and dropped in the tender box located in the Office of the Director of Administration, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku/Ozalla, Enugu on or before 11.55am on Friday, December, 20th 2013.
Collection of Tender Documents:
Qualified contractors are advised to collect Technical drawing and unpriced bill of quantity on payment of non refundable fee of N50.000.00 (Fifty thousand naira) only, in bank draft payable to UNTH Ituku/Ozalla. Enugu.
Photocopy of the payment receipt must be attached to the tender documents. Tenders documents are obtainable from the Tenders Unit, Procurement Department UNTH, Enugu.
Opening of Tender:
Tenders will be opened at 12.00 noon on Friday 20th December, 2013 at the UNTH Boardroom, Ituku/Ozalla, Enugu. Contractors are invited for the opening.
