The Kano State Government and the Federal Government of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association (herein referred to as IDA) towards the implementation of Third National Fadama Development Project (FADAMA III), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for consultancy service of Environmental Audit.
Eligibility Criteria:
Interested Environmental firms wishing to express interest in the above mentioned service should submit the following documents:
I. Profile of company/institution including certificate of incorporation, physical address, ownership (including board membership) organograms, management structure and contacts (Telephone, facsimile and email).
II. Evidence of financial management systems (Accounting and Internal Control). The key personnel to be proposed by the firms are:
(a) Natural Resource/Environmental Expert (Team leader).
(b) Soil water scientist; and
(c) Team Assistant, all the personnel should have minimum of MSC in any of the disciplines mentioned in the T.O.R. They are also to have post qualification experience of at least 10 years.
(iv) The Environmental consulting firm must be accredited one with the Federal Ministry of Environment. The laboratories to conduct the analyses must also be an accredited with the Federal Ministry of Environment.
(iv) Evidence of payment of tax for the last three (3) years,
(v) Evidence of membership of relevant professional bodies/association.

Interested eligible service provider should submit the documents in a sealed envelope with bold inscription: “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO CONDUCT FADAMA III ENVIRONMENT AUDIT”, at the top left corner and should reach the address below not later than 9th December 2013:
