RTI International (www.rti.org) is an independent not-for-profit organization headquartered in the USA and dedicated to improving the human condition through multidisciplinary technical assistance, training and research services. We are seeking qualified Nigerian organizations to consider for the purpose of providing accounting services during the conduct of a national education survey.
Project Description
The EdData 2015 program (https://www.eddataglobal.org/) provides survey expertise to help national and local governments as well as the donor community assess education status and design methods for improvement. RTI International has been tasked to work with the Government of Nigeria to administer a large household survey that will cover over 36,000 households in all 36 states of Nigeria.
Duties
RTI International requires the services of an accounting firm to provide in-country financial management services in the implementation of the NEDS 2015 activity. The provider will, through a project bank account disburse funds, for which the selected accounting firm will serve as a fiduciary agent. To support this activity, the Subcontractor will be required to disburse funds from the project account in line with agreed guidelines to:
- Cover internal project related expenses
- Directly pay per diem to recipients
- Directly to third party vendors

Questions, Responses and Proposal submission deadlines
By e-mail, companies are required to submit question on the scope of work by 04 October, 2013. Responses to questions will be returned to all interested companies on 08 October, 2013. Companies must submit proposals by the submission deadline which is 18 October, 2013. Proposals should be submitted to Ms. Phoebe Kung’u, Senior Procurement Specialist, pkungu@rti.org.
