Invitation to Tender

The National Metallurgical Development Centre, (NMDC), Jos, a parastatal of the Federal Government of Nigeria under the Ministry of Mines and Steel development, Abuja and responsible for Research and Development in Minerals and Metallurgy, hereby invites interested and reputable organizations to tender for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of the following:-

• Mineral Testing Auxiliary Equipment (Physical and Mechanical Tests) -NMDC/BD/13.10713

2.       General Requirements

Interested organizations shall submit, along with their financial bids, the following documents:

Company profile enclosed with

1. Evidence of incorporation/Registration with CAC
2. Evidence of Tax clearance Certificate for the last 3years
3. Company Audited Accounts for the last 3years
4. Evidence of Financial Capability/ Banking support
5. Evidence of VAT registration and remittances
6. Evidence of performance of similar jobs
7. Current Certificate of registration with PENCOM and evidence of contribution
8. Evidence of registration with I.T.F and remittances
9. Evidence of payment of Bid Processing Fee
10. Bid Security, in Bank Draft, at 2% of the bid value

3. COLLECTION OFTENDER DOCUMENTS

Interested bidders can obtain the Bid Document at the Procurement Unit of the Centre upon] payment of a non-refundable Tender Processing Fee of N10,000.00 (Ten thousand naira only).

4.       Submission of tender Documents

Bids shall be dropped in the Tender box at the DG’s Office, in sealed envelopes clearly marked with reference numbers on the left hand corner of the envelope.

Bids shall be in triplicates and are to reach the address below not later than Monday 4^th November, 2013

5.       Opening of Bids

Bids will be opened at 2:00pm on Friday, 1^st November, 2013 at the Board Room of the National Metallurgical Development Centre (NMDC), Jos.
