Invitation for Expression of Interest as Private Leaseholder in Government Owned Company
- Applications for expression of interest are hereby invited from suitably qualified and reputable private investors to partner with the Ekiti State Government on leasehold basis in the management of a company wholly owned by the State Government. The company is Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort Limited.
- The applicants must have proven and verifiable track records in successful ownership and/or management of similar company and must be ready to deploy the needed fund and managerial ability towards the successful transformation of the Company within a short period of time.
- Available at Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort are:
(i.) 91-room Accommodation facilities of different cadres
(ii.) Non-static Therapeutic Adult and Children Warm Swimming Pool
(iii.) 320-seater Open Amphi-Theatre
(iv.) 150-seater Mini-hall with conference/Training aids
(v.) 500-seater Conference Hall with conference aids
(iv.) Two (2) standby diesel generators of varied capacity for uninterrupted power supply
(v.) Restaurants and Bars including Bush Bar
(vi.) Well-equipped Medical/First aid facilities with a Standby Ambulance
(vii.) A well-equipped gym/physical fitness centre
(viii.) 450-capacity car park (can also be used for major outdoor events)
(ix.) Wireless internet services
(x.) And other attractive facilities
- In order to be pre-qualified, prospective investors must supply verifiable evidence of their ability to manage the company in the following formats:
(i.) Full name of the company and the contact person, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address.
(ii.) Ownership structure with names of major shareholders including international affiliation if available and percentage equity holdings
(iii.) Profile of the technical management team showing qualifications and years of experience in the industry.
(iv.) Audited Financial Statement for the last 3years and most recent Management Accounts.
(v.) Evidence of financial resources to turn around the fortunes of the Company.
(vi.) Amount payable to the State Government per annum for the lease
(vii.) The Blueprint of the proposed management format including Staffing.
(viii.) Any other information that may enhance the application.
- Applications shall be evaluated for pre-qualification upon strict compliance with the required information.
- Applications must be submitted in sealed envelope and clearly marked “Expression of Interest” and delivered to:
